Glad you mentioned the "Full Moon" Kris...
I think "Lunacy" effects a lot of animals ....including Humans (myself included) "Lunatic" came from a reason.

Tomorrow she is going to the vet getting a "Peti" and her heartworm / flea-tick edibles.

Trying to get through 4 hours mandatory at work this morning.
The new electric pole chainsaw came in UPS yesterday. I have visions of a new shooting lane out 60 - 70 yds right through the middle of that stand of cane poles in the back of our house. Chopped them puppies down and inject the stumps with poison. It's WAR !!!

While mowing my uncle's place near the wood line this afternoon I saw several wild boar 25yds away in the woods so I emptied the mag of my .45 acp chasing them into the woods until they disappeared into the thickets. Hopefully some were hit and will die off but if not at least I saved my uncle's yard from getting rooted up. Yes I mow loaded for just such an event.

Finally pulled myself away from the yard work and worked on my boat. It's been a year since it's been in the water due to the hurricanes and covid mess. Gave it a good washing and cranked up the motor. Will change the oil in it today and put the new registration stickers on the boat and trailer tag. If weather permitting, go take it to the bay and run it for awhile, maybe fish a little.

I did shoot today but non airgun related I changed out spark plugs, wires, and ignition coils trying to get rid of a misfire error code and rough running engine on my Tacoma. It worked.
Also changed out the front brake pads on the drivers side of the big van. The inside pad was GONE! I should have changed the rotor too but I was NOT really wanting to do that. It will be done later... maybe. ha ha!

We went longboard-skateboarding both Saturday and Sunday mornings. My latest paddle-stick revision is a winner, and we put in at least 6 miles Sunday. Saturday night was spent hanging out with Sonja's sister and her husband enjoying adult beverages. Sunday was a lot of fun. We cooked breakfast out on the griddle early, then after our riding, we checked out a really nice property (24 acres, includes pole barn and LARGE garage) but would need a lot of work investment. From there, we headed home and worked on the house. Built some new screens, rehung a couple doors, and cleaned up the garage.

We have a few pans in the fire but nothing crazy.

Many people want to know how fast their vehicle goes from zero to 60 mph. Few ever worry how fast it goes from 60 mph to ZERO!

So very true!

Lemme tell ya, based on a study one of my customers did, I got turned onto cryogenically treated rotors. Forever more moving forward, every car/truck/van I own will get cryo-rotors when I do my brake jobs. They handle Route 33 in WV with fine aplomb, and lemme tell ya, that ain't a road for the faint-hearted in inclement weather.

I'll add that I learned a bone-stock engine in just about any car or truck has way more power than you needed to have fun. And that the amount of fun you had was often based on the ability stop when desired, not sometime thereafter. So every every vehicle I owned ended up getting brake improvements right after (or even when) upgrading the quality of the tires. Next vehicle on the list is my Odyssey.

FYI for you "Urbanites"... us Rural Folks need to put a Mailbox at the end of our drive / lane... In Halloween season it it is customary here to smash mail boxes with a pumpkin..
I don't know why... never participated... but it has always been so.
