I'm on amazon looking at pellet prices and happen to find these polymags listed at $6.99. I'm thinking to grab'em quick. But it is misleading on the size. The pick of the tin shows 150 .25cal and right under the price it says .20 cal, but in the description down lower it says .177 cal. Either way if they are .177 or .20 cal it still seems like a good deal for someone at $.6.99 I needed .25 or .22 but placing here for your consideration. Oh, it also says free shipping.

The last 3-4 reviews were not good. Said there were a lot of damaged skirts. It’s very confusing what caliber you’ll actually get. If it were vague between .177, .22 and .25. I’d give it a try, but my luck I’d be sent .20 and have no use for them!

I sent them a message asking what’s the correct size, but it says they have 2 days to reply...lol. They’ll be gone by then probably...damaged or not. We will see.

I have a feeling and believe they are .20 cal. But at that price I'm sure they won't last long as they are about $14.99 at PA. I also saw some .30 cal for $11.99 on there also which seemed decent, but I don't have a .30 cal YET!

The other thing is that the seller only has 12 reviews.  In the past new sellers were posting items with super low prices.  People who bought never received the items.  There was suspicion that these new sellers were trying to get credit card information to exploit.

I fell for it once and never received the item.  After a couple weeks I received my money back from Amazon.

So you can take a chance but be prepared to deal with the refund hassle and maybe your credit card being hacked.

Yep .20 caliber, made the order for 4, mislead by picture too, thought they were .25's.  Cancelled it right away!

Sellers can't get your CC information.  Amazon almost always sides with the buyer.  I stopped selling on Amazon because buyers take advantage of the system.  Amazon will take money out of a sellers bank account against the will of the seller.  Didn't mean to get off topic here so let me just say buyers are safe as long as you abide by the return period.  It now shows .20 caliber.  If you have one that takes it, GO FOR IT.  If you find the pellets are dented you can return them and the seller or Amazon eats it and shipping.  You just print out the label and tape it on or use an Amazon drop box.

I'll stick with the Predator Dent Archives. Bought quite a few from them and not a thing wrong with any of them other than off center labels on the tins. Packed very well and no shipping damage either:

Nope, the last time I ordered some CPDUM's from Amazon they literally tossed two tins in a box with no pillows, paper, nothing.

As you can imagine they were quite a mess once they arrived.

Sounds like most of my Midway orders.  I guess I was lucky Midway put 3 air pillows in the box, but forgot about the other 50% of the empty space in the box   Pillows did nothing to stop the ammo from bouncing around and hitting each other, cracking, breaking or crushing the ammo boxes and spilling all the rounds.

What bothers me the most about bigger companies like Amazon, Midway and others is that they don't change a thing year after year and after thousands of people have reported the packaging problems and complained.

One thing I will say about Midway....
I told them about the poor packaging just suggesting they do a better job. They issued a full refund and told me to keep the pellets. I told them it was just a suggestion and a refund wasn't what I was after..... they refunded my money anyhow but, as it appears... they didn't take my suggestion.

Same here Bill.  Midway always gave me something when I called to complain about the damage, like a $10 gift certificate or credit to use on their site only, since the majority of the ammo was usable, or a plastic box to put the rounds in since the original boxes were usually destroyed.  The only time they refunded me was when I sent them pics of some .22LR bullets bent or displaced from the casings. 

I never had an issue with Midway making it up in some way.  I just wish they did a better job with the packaging I didn't have to receive 11 shipments in a row with damage to the contents (ammo mostly) every single time over the course of a year or 2.  I still read reviews there where people complain of the same thing years later.  It seems they have not changed a thing, probably because it's cheaper to refund or give a few dollar credit to the 1% or 3% that complain, instead of spending a lot more $$ on bubble wrap and paper to properly protect the goods during shipping.  To be honest I would pay 50 cents more for some proper packaging material and never had to worry about damaged shipments again.  But until they correct that problem I will not be ordering from Midway.  I haven't for several years.
