Webley (chinese) Nemesis CO2 pistol, 22 cal

I have had this pistol for several weeks now and I am extremely pleased with it. It cost $120, has a dovetail rail, adjustable trigger, reversible bolt handle, 12 shot magazine (2x6), single shot tray, picatinny under-rail and a 1/2 20 UNF threaded muzzle. The trigger is adjustable with a 1.5mm hex wrench. I adjusted it to 1/8" travel and an average pull of 1lb 9oz. It can be adjusted all the way to the point that the hammer will not engage. The open sights are removable and the front is windage adjustable.  Cocking is easy, less than 6lb effort and so far the magazine has functioned perfectly. it is refreshing to see something on the market that is up to my standard without any Modifications.

I watched this one myself since they announced it as a new gun on the PA Website. So far there are a little mixed reports from Tom Gaylord and Dennis Adler coming in about accuracy, how is it in the accuracy department Art.

At five meters they all go in the same hole using Meisterkugeln 14g WC.  Of course, I always clean and polish the bore, leade and crown before firing a new gun.

I'm shooting at five meters on a solid bench rest using a scope, and I have cleaned and polished the barrel.  Under these circumstances the gun would be defective if the pellets would not go into the same hole.    I can not use open sights, so all I do with them is take them off and put them in the box. The bloggers were using the open sights at (I think) ten meters, so the sights probably do not perform well.

Yes, I think that is what booth Tom Gaylord and Dennis Adler have found about the sights, so to get accuracy out of it a kind of Dot sight or Pistol scope is needed, do you think a Peep sight setup would work on that gun, or is it to short for it. I know the peep will work on other longer guns like the 1377 and equivalent series. So if that would work on the Nemesis that would be cool for open sight shooters.

Thank you for the detailed report!  I've been curious about this pistol.  Is the 1/2 20 UNF threaded end the actual barrel, or is it part of the pistol frame?  Also, do you think the pistol can be adjusted down to a 1lb trigger pull?  I'm considering this pistol with DonnyFL Tatsu and a red dot sight.  (Or a peep sight if someone confirms that it will work.)

The threads are part of the barrel. As for the open sights, I am unable to use them, but I believe it is possible to add some without too much trouble.  I'm not sure about aperture sights on a pistol.  The trigger adjusts all the way down to the point that the sear will not engage, so 1lb should be no problem.  I intend to lighten it up a bit after it is broken in.

What Scope you got on the Nemesis in that picture? Looks a lot like a UTG Bug Buster. And is that a offset Scope mount I see there, very interesting and genius setup for a pistol.

It is a bugbuster 3-12x32 side AO.  These type of scopes are the only one's I have found that will focus at five meters, the distance I do most of my shooting.  The scope is very short and requires an offset mount to get it within range of the eye.
