Lowering a Condor tank (buttstock)?

I'm sure this has been posted a million times, but I couldn't find anything - sorry.

I saw a picture of a AirForce Condor with a "lowered" tank for using lower scope rings and a better cheek weld.  If anyone knows what I'm talking about, could you tell me what it is or where to look?

I sure hate to see the conterfittes being listed first. And their shipping usually makes it higher than the genuine offerings Fro Talon Tunes , which are fully stood behind! pcp tuns are super expensive if an item needs to be replaced. Shipping is way out of line.

Yeah...well...finding "things" for this sport seems to be a bit iffy, not a whole lot of competition out there...you either make them yourself or pay the Piper...I think 50 bucks plus 30 bucks shipping for an offset adapter is a bit steep also...BUT...if they are the only game in town and you WANT what they have...what can you do...

I scoured the net looking for offset adapters and found only the PCP Tunes adapters also sold by AGD and Pyramyd (I think) and Talon Tunes with his 150 buck bottle lowering device and I DIDN'T find anyone making them on any forum...maybe I just didn't look in the right place.  I don't think the market is large enough to get any "larger lot" discounts...even with CNC.

ANYONE who wants to get into the small parts making business just needs a 50 large 5 axis CNC milling machine and a 25 large plus 3 axis CNC lathe...I know of 3 businesses running 24 hours a day all year long and this is in a very small city and they can't hardly keep up with demand....NONE of them do small or single items...I can't even get them to make me a run of a couple hundred brass bullets at a buck and a half apiece...they ALSO charge $100/hr to input the drawing.

That adapter could be made with a couple dollars worth of materials and maybe 10 minutes max CNC machine time...it only took me half a day to do all the futzing around, two machines, several setups to get the offset and other end threaded and the milling to "square" up the angled end and a 100 mile trip to town for a 5/8-18 die...(I have every tpi 5/8" tap/die EXCEPT an 18 tpi), to get mine done ...hahahahaha...wonder how much that actually cost even discounting my "no cost/hr" retired and worthless charges.

Doesn't matter much to me WHICH came first...I just listed them in no particular order...it's up to the individual to decide if they want to pay the freight or go an other way...let the man decide.

I made a 7.5° angled adapter today with a hunk of 1.5" alum round stock and a 2"Grade 8 5/8-18 UNF bolt I found in my bolt can. 

I also found a block of 7/8" alum wide and long enough to make a "bottle lowering device with a 7.5 to 10° offset also(maybe)" ala T.T. for a heck of a lot less than a C note and a half PLUS shipping.  Might have to order up the M18-1.5 tap and die, I don't want to tear my lathe apart to reset the gears for Metric "stuff" for one item...and I suspect I will be doing some more M18-1.5 item as time goes on.

Be glad you can find items online and can chose whether to pay or not...I remember not to many years ago when this wasn't the case, but it's definitely a double edged knife.  This is a WORLD ECONOMY now...get used it.

Chinese makes a angled " z valve constant pressure valve". Its regulated. I dont know how well it works but I put one one and its regulated to 2000 psi. I havent done any crony work with it so performance is still unknown. Ali Express  is where I got mine for 70$ shipped.

I had a bunch of Ali Express stuff loaded up in my cart and was about to order it up, but then realized that is saving $100 or so, really worth using untested items that are under 3000psi & I'm resting up against my cheek. 
I've decided I'll pay extra and order from either Talon Tunes or AF or any established dealer that can actually stand behind their products.

Those Z C.P. regulators are now above $100...I've been looking at the same ones from several suppliers (for a while now) but probably all made at one manufacturing location.

Do you ever wonder WHERE those T.T. and AG regulators/pieces and parts come from?  It is a valid concern but you/me/everyone rarely ever check the Material Data sheets...the C.P. regulator I bought from MYOT was S.S. and I looked at the machining and fit and couldn't find anything wrong.

Basically you pays your money and takes your chances with ANYTHING man made...you have to trust SOMEONE/SOMETHING with whatever you buy, for whatever reason....ever really think HOW the hamburger in your tasty-burger or from your favorite market Safeway is produced??...OR where the cattle come from.??  I once worked on a cattle ranch and it almost put me off meat altogether...but I'm a predator/carnivore and need my meat...so...

It's all relative...with the trade embargo wars going on with China and China's want/need to dominate the world all those "Cheep Sh**" goodies will be a thing of the past or not needed because our way of life just went SOUTH.
