I have the XS46U in .177 lube tuned. Very happy with the rifle, no problems, easy to cock and pretty accurate. Trigger is single stage but easy to get used to. Dave
I only have one gun from Mike and I love it. It is the XS-60C in 22. Mike tuned it to my desired power level. I was shooting it again just yesterday, at 30 yds it shoots dime sized groups. I could not be more happy and Mike is a super great guy. Give him a call between nine and noon.

The noise level is not bad but not quiet. I put a Rocker 1 LDC on mine and it is very backyard friendly now.
Good quality and accurate? Yes they are, Accurate given the right pellet.Mike is a great guy and I've enjoyed doing business with him. I haven't had any problems with ordering from him and I've only ever had issue with one airgun, but that has more to do with the cheap o rings the Chinese use on the sentry.
I have a Sentry in .22, I did not get a tune, did my own, but if you are not a tinkerer then get the gun tuned by Mike, his prices are reasonable, and he does quality work.
I don't have one but I've no doubt those guns are great !!! I'm a fan of the SPA stuff and also the Nova Vista stuff. I just can't bring myself to spend the money on a high end airgun so I have been getting the Chinese PCP's. If I was a paper puncher I would probably get an FX before I'd buy the Daystate stuff cause I'm sure the FX's are just as accurate as the Daystates are. Actually they're really not cheaper(cost) either to a certain point. I think that with the Chinese guns I feel safer when tearing them apart to modify or whatever.
I have and have had several of Mike's guns.Top notch. The man makes magic with a Chinese springer.Who else gives a lifetime warranty that's also transferable?Be sure to hang onto the box with Mike's notes. It's your proof of purchase.
Mike does this thing where he layers the spring guide with shrink wrap and heavy tar..... amazing results. The key to a smooth, solid "thunk" shot cycle in a springer is to make that spring spin free on the top hat and thrust washer. I've learned a ton about tuning springers from Mike and others here.[/quote, That is amazing. The thing I've learned very quickly here since joining is that the members are very diverse in their knowledge and most importantly willing to share. For those like me that have been into the hobby a short time ,it's invaluable to have that many knowledgeable people to interact with. I'm really enjoying this forum .I do at times say to myself "jeez you got a lot to learn " lol
