well i wasnt able to get out yet and try at 100yds but i did have the time to tune this )&^%*^ gun some more  with the 166grn bullets that manny suggested im now getting 240fpe  and i believe its capable of more if i go a bit further

That's a real powerhouse you got there!  800fps is a respectable speed for such heavy-for-caliber slugs.....should retain velocity pretty well out at 100yards+.

im thinking i can get 260-275fpe with a little bit more work  but im happy were it is now   just need more time to go shooting at 100yds

How many shots are you getting off of a fill?  Got any chrony strings?  Lightweight slugs will scream out of that thing.

240fpe is a lot of power in .356-.357  If you are getting an excellent shot string with the accuracy you are seeking with it tuned to 240fpe, will you be able to undue any changes made to get 260fpe if 260fpe doesn't work as well as 240fpe?

That string looks great!  6 shots within a maximum spread of about 18fps on initial testing......I get about 4shots a fill (five absolute tops) that tight shooting my 909.
