Thanks for the reply.
I've got the Air Speed semi auto. Think the full auto feature will simply be novelty, but do like the look of the gun.
Really cant 'justify' it other than to say I just think it look like it would be fun. :-)

I'm brand new to pcp. Luckily I live about an hours drive from Airguns of Arizona. Looking to buy my first pcp, I walk in knowing I've narrowed my list to the daystate huntsman regal xl and the kalibrgun cricket. The associate quickly turned me to the AGT vulcan 2... everything the cricket is without all the drawbacks. Needless to say I walked out empty handed... couldn't decide between those two gorgeous guns.
Went home and did some more research and although I didnt want another ar looking gun in my safe, I quickly started to discover the fx impact x mk2 would be a gun that I could kill pesky critters with, plink long range, easily and affordably switch calibers ect. For this kind of money I figure buy once, cry once.
So I emailed AoA requesting to order me one and it appears they terminated their relationship with fx guns and told me to check out this LCS SK19. Below is our email conversation...
Me:
I recently visited aoa and was interested in a regal xl or a vulcan. Beautiful guns. After much debate and heavy consideration I believe the impact platform would best suit my needs. I'd like to get an order started for the Impact X MK2 in .25 cal silver frame/buttstock. It appears pyramid lists it at $1999.99 and Utah lists it at $2049.00. If you could price match, I'd like to support my local gun shop. Thank you for your help. Also appreciate the friendly and kind staff at AoA. The employee took the time to educate me on PCP guns. Very happy I drove over an hour to come in and see you guys.
AoA:
I am sorry, but ad of a few months ago, we no longer carry FX airguns. They we the most problematic brand we had and the relationship ended with them. So if you do want the rifle, you will have to go with another dealer. However, you may want to look at one more rifle before you make a decision. LCS Air Arms just released a select fire rifle that makes the Impact look like a toy.
Me:
Checking out the SK-19. Very little info available on it so far. Full auto is not necessary for my needs. How does the lothar Walter barrel compare to the smooth twist x barrels? How is the adjustability? How does it compare to the impact in terms of being able to caliber swap? (If not yet, how likely will it be in the future?) My biggest concern is accuracy, the impact has been proven time and time again at 100 yards and taking down small game as far as 200+ yards. Much of this is of coarse the shooter... but the impact is extremely capable of reaching those distances with accuracy, repeatably. The impact also has plenty of mods already available. Does AoA see this happening with the sk19?
AoA:
All great questions. As with any new rifle, there are a limited number of reviews available. However, based on our testing and the customers that have received the first batch of rifles, the accuracy is as good as the Impact at 50 yards for sure. As for 100 yards, only time will tell. I doubt the rifle will show up at any competitions for accuracy as a semi-auto really isn't a good choice. You are correct on the caliber swap, but after being an FX dealer for over 12 years, I would estimate that only about 5% of owners actually took advantage of that feature. You may however be in the minority. But as a hunting rifle with 60 ft/lbs and 60 shots, and the ability to follow up without cocking the rifle, we expect the SK-19 to be a new standard. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
So in conclusion I believe I'm going to stick with my choice of the impact x. If you want a gun that is accurate and powerful at 50 yards and maybe not so much at 100 yards... with the capability of full auto, then this could be your gun. But it's too new, with too little support. And the fact that it probably wont be used to compete means it likely wont get much publicity which equates to less sales which in turn means less chance of future mods and support.

I'll check you guys out. Thanks.
Must be bad blood between AoA and fx to have dropped an entire brand all together... I'm not buying into what the salesman emailed me about "they were all problem guns".
Found a press release that FX was the one who chose to terminate the relationship. Lol
At any rate, someone else will be receiving the opportunity to sell me one!

No dog in the fight here as I own neither, but from handling the LCS SK19 and the FX impact, my money would go to the LCS.
LCS just feels much better made, solid, robust feel in the hands. Impact feels kinda fragile.
I also like the idea of a nice thick LW barrel over a flimsy, thin walled "liner." I own (or have owned) five LW barrels, and they've all been stellar. If not an LW, then CZ for any barrel on an airgun I'm considering buying.
But, when I'm dropping big money on an airgun, build quality is high on my priority list. Others may have other priorities.

I have no doubt the lcs sk19 is built like a tank, it looks rigid. I also have heard wonders about the LW barrels... which daystate also uses (and are robust guns). Since it is a huge purchase (especially considering it's a pellet gun), I would personally opt to spend that money on a brand that has product support. Regardless of how well its built, if you cant repair/replace parts, it's a $2000 paperweight.
Hopefully lcs takes the market by storm and
Is another major contender in the near future with tons of support, but until then... I'll invest conservatively with a known brand like fx or daystate.

My LCS SK19, in 22 cal is the cats arse! Works flawlessly! One of the very few rifles I've ever bought, that I didn't have to tweak anything! Perfect right out of the box. Thanks SPAW great service! VERY well made. The hammer less system leaves very little recoil so the POA stays right on. Loads of fun, but stock up on pellets, and better have a compressor! BTW, LCS and Huben are apparently having patent right issues. Huben made in China, LCS made in USA, from imported parts. Ha ha, mini trade war!

I've owned the LCS- SK-19 .25 cal for over a year now not one hiccup, not one misfire. Using JSB exacts 33.95g this gun is accurate and reliable. Take that coming from an owner of an RTI .30cal Prophet performance and the FX MK2 .35cal. I also own a bunch of other guns. People come to shoot at my backyard range they always ask to shoot the LCS- yes it's reliable, doesn't leak and I was doing one in. groups at 75 yards this yr I can go back to 80-85 yards now. Cranked up it shoots at 1103fps w33.9g too. Doesn't seem to affect accuracy that much either. I love hunting with it. The only issue it has is its loud moderators don't quell it has a snap to it. -I like it but unlike my RTI w/Ronin, it's noisy. full auto is all over the place unless you calm the gun way down. I have the chrony numbers to back it up. Semi is not only nice it's a blast to double-tap. A 580cc bottle is a must but I usually shoot it off the big bottle.

I have one in .25 cal and just love it. Might be the only gun I won’t sell. I’m running a 4500psi 500 cc tank on mine and it’s just the cats arse.
