I should have removed some wood near my bolt handle when I built mine. I noticed you did. Did you go with the extra screw holding the action to the stock or are you going to gamble on those couple threads. Even a 1377 pistol has 2 anchors to the tube. My bolt knob rests right on the wood.
Check tomorrow. I will pull mine and give you the exact length. There is not much wiggle room or you get into your hammer spring.
It’s an 8/32 screw. Mine is 1.54” long. I recessed a flat spot in the wood so the screw would sit flush with the plastic trigger guard. Here is a pic so you can see where to drill. I glass bedded the back of my tube but that might not be necessary.

I love how your gun turned out; man that looks awesome! And I really like that rear sight you put on it; how are you liking it so far? I love that it doesn't over the sides of the breech block like the other peeps do; much less likely to snag on things I would imagine.
