These guns are a bit different than your regular pumpers. There is a precharge chamber that needs to have 1740 - 1800 psi. If you take the small end cap cover off of the front end of the air tube you will see the fill port. You will need the small fill probe to fill it from here. This precharge air chamber assists in pumping effort for the main chamber. I have not needed to open my gun so I don't know first hand about repairing it. I'm just reporting what I have read from the .pdf files. I know these are 'no warranty' guns but the owner's manual states that guns not holding pressure in the precharge chamber should be returned for repair. You'll notice that the full priced guns do not come with the small fill probe. Being a 'no warranty' gun, you have to deal with the issues on your own.

I don't have a front fill probe and haven't been able to get time to try to make one. So I pump a little more now.
That would be great however there is a piston in between the two Chambers (with 2 o rings) that separates the two Chambers. The post that I got my information from, the member here posted that he took out the piston to get more airspace.
The Freedom that I've been using regularly has only dumped air 1 time and that's when I shot it way down right after I bought it. I was just basically seeing how it was doing then testing with chrono etc. I pumped it back up and it hasn't dumped air since, I don't shoot below 2K anyway because of the way that I have it tuned.
These two o rings were bad on my last one ...
Also, Is the Hard Air -20% coupon still active? I saw mention that it isn't despite the 12/2019 Exp. date listed on the coupon.
Wow, and I thought my Gamo Swarm had limited scope mounting space. I'm guessing any scope over 8-10" long is a no-go! So much for using any I have on hand. I'm happy to hear you've had no issues. I'm waiting to see Hajimoto's review of it. Maybe he'll have some interesting insight(s) about it.
