I'd like to get one of those probes to fill the pre-charged air chamber if anyone is making them. PM me if you do, please.
So you can fill the precharge volume by pumping? If so would a bottle or compressor also re-fill the precharge?

I seriously considered buying one or two of these ATI Freedoms in 22 Cal. I even called Ty and talked to him about what they had. I might have bought one.... BUT.... cherokeesteve made me an offer on his 25Cal. Spring Piston Hatsan 125 TH Break Barrel that... I just could not refuse. I told him ...This Is Nuts...Lets Do This. So thats where the money went for me. All things considered ...I really like this ATI Nova Freedom in 22 Cal. Very Nice Set Up for Hunting. Congratulations to all of you, who have or are getting, the Freedom rifle.Best Wishes - TomTom.... cash in your empty cans and grab one before they are gone and you regret it.

PM me if you do, please.Bill, I have a somewhat working probe for the pre-charged air chamber. It is leaking a little during the fill and I think the 70D oring I am using is not hard enough to seal in the air. The leaking stop when it reaches the same PSI as the main chamber and in my case it was around 2200 PSI. I can continue to pump beyond 2200 PSD but I stopped at 2400 PSI. Unfortunately, I don't have any 90D to continue testing. Will be ordering some 90D oring. Here is my measurement if anyone wish to make one and also advertise your service.Without air in the pre-charged chamber, 100 pumps will get you to around 2400 PSI.

I'm still waiting for some better tooling (chucks & colletts) and materials, but I had an ITCH that had to be scratched NOW. Grabbed a cheap 5/16" steel hex bolt and chopped a section out of the smooth shank. Chucked it up in my wood lathe (not the best method) and at very slow speed (~ 60 rpm) began dremel-disk grinding the rough shape. Then small files to smooth at middle speed (~800 rpm), and fine sanding at high speed (~3000 rpm). Drilling was the most difficult part, but will be MUCH easier when my new tools arrive.Photo:Top is a stock Foster to 1/8 NPT thread adapter in SS from either ebay or Amazon.Bottom is a Hatsan compatible SS probe I ordered from China through ebay.Middle is the tiny custom probe just made for the front port on the Freedom rifle.I tried the dash-007 Buna 70A o-rings first and they just "squirted out" when I hit ~1000 psi.Next attempt was dash-007 Buna 90A o-rings and they worked just fine up to 3600 psi.I have removed the sliding piston from this particular Freedom so filling from the front port DOES fill the WHOLE air tube. As I suspected, filling through this port with such a tiny probe is very twitchy in that the probe must be positioned JUST RIGHT. IMHO the only practical use of this probe is to fill the pre-charge front of the air tube when the sliding piston is in the tube.

Michael, again, please mark me down for a front chamber fill probe once you've refined them.. if you intend to make and sell a few...Thanks
SoupyyyIf you find your Freedom dumping air at 2200 psi, you might try releasing a little pressure from the "PreCharge" side. I think the correct procedure is to have zero pressure on the breech side of the air tube piston, then you fill the "pre charge" side to 1750psi.
