Mike I can tell already that this gun will be good out in the field if it's accurate, I'll put some shots over the chrony later to see what it's doing with my 19.6 grainers. It actually sounds just as powerful at 3K as my Liberty is (that's with a pellet in them too) and the Liberty is doing 28fpe for 60 shots. I might even slap the Bugbuster from my Prod on it and try it out in the field tomorrow. It's going to be windy but at least I'll get a reasonable idea of what it's going to be doing.
They're actually really easy to pump for me. A probe would be handy though, I seen where one guy was machining up some but I don't see them in the classifieds yet.
Just came in from shooting my Aspen. Got a new scope today, the new scope actually went on a springer but the one on the springer moved to the aspen. The 'old' scope went on the Aspen, a hammers 4-12 x 40 AO. Decent scope. The springer got a brand new UTG 3-12 x 44 AO sidewinder with the illuminated reticle. It's pretty nice but hte reticle is kinda thick. Spoiled by my etched glass monster sized scope that lives on the Gauntlet. Will probably play a little musical chairs with the scopes.But I had forgotten what a 'HOT" gun these things are. I did not check it with the chrony but pretty sure it was approaching 900fps with 18 grain pellets! Got about 15 rounds from a little over 3,000 psi down to just under 2,000 not bad.It was a little squirrley at first I think it is jealous of the Gauntlet getting all the attention It settled down quick enough and shot pretty consistantly.Still no more leaks after the few drops of silicone oil in the fill port! Thats good news I 'fixed' the leak by shooting the gun down to zero psi, putting 2 drops of silicone oil in the little hole at the bottom of the fill port, attaching a bottle, and opened the bottle quickly. It must have moved a speck of dust on the check valve.
So far my order from ATI has not arrived, it was ordered on the 17th.I guess that is what I get for living on the other side of the country.

I wouldn't fret over it though Derek because it'll probably be there in a couple days or less. Mine took eight calender days to get here in Michigan from South Carolina.

Well I decided against going to the state land today, it's flat out way too windy today, tomorrow morning or Sunday all day would be much better, I'll put out a target this morning and sight it in at 20 yards to get it ready and I'll probably get some casting in today instead.
You gonna use cast pellets in your Freedom?
