Here is a thought....
If the red zone on the gauge is at 3k but the marketing states max fill is 3600, does the burst disc let go at 3650?

I believe it has 4500 inscribed into the burst disk.

Haven't gotten a Fedex shipping notice yet but I ordered it at 9:15am yesterday, probably in a week or less I'd guess.  I already have the non warranty Liberty and love it, that gun is shooting my cast 19.6 grain pellets with extreme accuracy.  I'll never buy anymore JSB18.13's because I no longer need them, the only thing that I need are the tins

Mike, I'm assuming that is .177. Are both guns .177?
Could it be that the ding in the breech could be a sign that something knocked the breech out of line? The would explain the windage issue.

Mike, I'd venture to guess that's the result of a double feed that locked the magazine in the breech.  It appears the neanderthal that owned it before you took a hammer and chisel to it instead of just removing the grub screws and sliding the barrel forward to clear the jam!

My aspen prefers heavier pellets JSB Jumbo Exacts at 18 gr, or AA Diabolo heavys at 18gr.

I'm assuming that's .22. Mine is a .177 and I've only shot the 10.5 CPUM and the 9.8 winnie domes so far and both are ding dong daddys..

If I remember right the Freedom came out before the Liberty didn't it   If they did it wasn't long before the Liberty came into the scene.

Ok, lemme get this one in real quick....
The wind kicked up while I was in here dazzling with my brilliance.
Went back out and it took me 20 minutes to find my dang target. Heck, even my dime was mia.
But I was dead set on trying one more pellet. Turns out is was a bad choice. I went down the scale in weight to a 7.9 CHP ( Crosman Hollow Point). I did prove one thing... Only a DA would test a lighter pellet after the wind kicks up.
I didn't even bother with a picture...
Pumped back to 3k.... 17 strokes. Racked in a mag and sent 5 to each target. POI went 1.5" above bull and spread to an average 1" group.
Could have been wind and could have been the light pellet made the gun puke.
If the wind settles I'll make another go at it. If not, I may just go down to the shop and mount the side rails on the fore stock for the legs. If I do that, I'm just going to remove the stock, locate optimal mounting location, drill the holes, attach the mounts and put the stock back on.
I don't want to fool with the gun until I get all the 'before' info collected.

On the History channel show "The Curse of Oak Island" There is a British metal detector guy who whenever he finds something really nice he said it's another Bobby dazzler.

Yes it is, but I first read about The Money Pit 40 some years ago.  It has been in the back of my mind ever since.  I have not missed an episode and I can't give up now.  I sure want to throw things at the tv often enough as the producers are real DAs.

Thanks Bill!  Well I dida google search for 100% silicone oil, and and none on island, at least in the big stores. (auto parts, Lowes, HD, Walmart etc)  Really wanted to get some oil in the non pumping Freedom this long weekend, and Amazon wont get here in time.  Sigh, the price of paradise.  Hey! Those "Personal Lubricants" are 100% silicone, yes?  My search directed me to Walgreens

Holy Cow! It looks like they got the shot tray 'stuck' in there and used a chisel or something to get it out. Probably stuck it in from the wrong side!

Paul, yes that was my initial thought too...jeez...alas, I guess I have done my share of buggering up stuff in the past.  On the other hand, not rocket science to take off a barrel!  Neanderthal or a Cromag?
