Hello dear GTA Team, i try today to loog in from my mobile phone and got an error that says.

Sorry jorgo you are banned from using this forum. This ban is not to expire.

I dont know what is wrong why i got this error

I am looged in from my tablet now

Has some one an answer to this.

If you are using TOR or VPN that can happen if the server in use has been blacklisted. If that is the case, get a different node or use a different VPN server.

Sorry for the issues. We have been slammed for several months now by spammers. We receive between 100-200 new membership applications per day. The problem is 99% of them are bogus spammers attempting to gain access to our forum and membership database. So we have gotten more aggressive at banning reported known spam sources. The problem with this is some good members may get caught up in the ban, as you pointed out. But you being able to post means YOU are not banned, just the connection you were trying to use.
If anyone receives a ban notification, please try a different connection. And possibly a VPN connection. If you can see the home page, there is a link there to message the forum administration. We can then look at your account.
Sorry but steps have to be taken to prevent spammers from gaining access to our forum.

I dont use thor or somthing just change somtimes the wlan connection with the phone ..home..at work..or by friends...maybe thes is the problem.

They're malicious?
They're bored?
They're vindictive?
They have nothing better to do?
They're honing their computer skills?
They want access to 15,000 folks personal info?

Pick a reason or list your own, who knows. All I know is they keep trying. And I don't care or want to know exactly WHY they want in.

I got the same error about a year ago when I was trying out a vpn software to try to protect my browsing. It freaked me out and I panicked lol.

Once I turned the vpn software off everything was ok. I was no longer banned.

Yea, I’ve just always been a regular working guy. Never a cop,robber,entrepreneur, business owner, etc.

Maybe it’s to send scams or telemarketing type stuff to members? Maybe for some type of government agency to find out who the freedom lovers are? It’s just weird.

I hate them they are taking my read time away on the forum, banning 50 or more a day not counting the ones Dez hammers. Yeah I hope they @#$!@#%^ and fall back in it. David

I would like to deeply thank Dez, Rocker, Liz, and all the others who are managing this site. It is a lot of work and hassle and that diligence can not slack.

I had an active website and customer forum since 1999 and fully understand how the “roaches” can work in the web world. Years ago then spammers would simply try to get in the forums to sell pills or blast the email data base with junk mail, now the game is much more nefarious.

We are getting more aggressive in our efforts to handle all of these spammer applications. What we are doing is researching their connections and banning any that are known spam sources. Unfortunately there certainly will be some of our good members that get caught up in this snare. If you receive a message that you are banned, please 1) clear your internet cache 2) turn off or try a different VPN or proxy server or 3) look on the home page and send me a message through the Contact Admin tab. We can research your account deeper to see if we can fix any issues.

I just got the same thing on my android phone using T-Mobile I was able to login with my iPhone on AT&T. I hope we can get this fixed. Any suggestions I have cleared the cache and history and restarted my phone and it’s still banned.

I also am not too familiar wit how this stuff works. I’m on T-Mobile’s mobile network only. No WiFi. Does this mean all T-Mobile network users are banned?

I have t-mobile and am banned again I cleared my internet cashe and was able to get on gta for a couple of hours and then was re-banned. I'm using a non mobile device to post this. I want to call t-mobile about this. Does anyone have a solution yet to this problem? Or information I can give them to help correct my t-mobile connection so I can get on gta. .

When this happens please check and see what your IP address is if possible. Get me that information and I can see if there is anything I we can do on this end. It should be in the details of your connection.
