thinking of a New R1 or HW80 help me pick please

ive been looking at the Beeman R1 i live 20 min from cobra airguns and Dave the owner has an R1 with scope in .22 which is what i want will let me have it for 575 out the door. Im just wondering since i can get the HW80 from pyramid for about 530 w the 10% off which would be a better shooter or are they exactly the same.
-im looking for a 17-20 fpe gun which i dont currently have and i want a high quality gun for my growing collection.

The 10% off does not apply to high end rifles like Beeman, Weihrauch, or Air arms.

HW80 and R-1 are the same rifles, no one is better than the other.  I decided to go with HW80 so I can use the open sights provided with the rifle or scope it when I need.  The new (relatively) beeman rifles do not have open sights so you have to scope them.  Bothe rifles are excellent and you will be happy with either one.  My HW80 gives me 18 lb.ft energy.

thakyou thats exactly the power im looking for. ordered an rws 460 the other day and the 10% worked brought it down to 494$ im gonna try anyway it cant hurt lol. thanks for the reply

Hi, if you like the scope on the gun go for it ,otherwise you will have to swap it out anyways...kelly
