yes remove he shim so you dont hit the stem as hard to flatten out the curve. or add hammer weight and you can open the valve at 4000psi just as unregulated guns and have a declining string. you just need to play around to get a flatter curve with more than 15 shots for hunting.

have you try shooting 48.6 grains by double feeding 2 crosman pellets?

2 crossmans would be 29 g. 2 H&N 21.14 g would be 42.28 g. I tried one of Stephen's 26 g slugs and only got 34 ftlbs of energy but I think the pressure might have been to high at 3200. Same with the 24 and 23 g slugs but then I think I was in the sweet zone and the 22g gave around 43 ftlbs.

Well, I ,managed to do a couple of shot strings. The first one was with CPHP 14.3. I started out at around 3600 psi and was getting around the high 800's until I hit about 3000 and then then holy moly, I thought it was going ballistic as in break the sound barrier.

 As you can see I had a few problems figuring out the crono as it's only the second time using it.

 the 356 is when my home made LDC went wonky. This rifle dropped pressure like you wouldn't believe after it got down into the low 2000s. Oh and as far as kick this rifle has some serious kick now.

Found out later I was only 26 fps from going super sonic with the cphps.

lol i missed on my math. Stephen was able to push the 25grains to 50fpe with ports, reg up and shims i think.

I think the main bottle neck now is the High Low port adj and I ain't a gonna drill the puppy out!!! I already have the barrel tp at 3/16 with the lead polished up. By the way, the shot string for the CPHP is last to first so the highest vel was on the last shot.

yeah. dont drill that out unless you have a steel replacement ready to go. i try avoid making that because it is a pain in the butt. anything i make nowadays will usually push me back into minimum 7 days.  i dare not touch a wood stock especially making one from scratch.

The only thing I do is put .100 worth of shims under the hammer spring and click the regulator two clicks ccw and that is it. One of the guns I opened up the BP to .~ 170 and that is it, and from the looks of things that does not do a whole lot.

Very frustrating not being able to get where I need to go and ask who I need to ask for these directly. DarkCharisma as fuzzy has posted is your best source for a replacement poppet. I have one of his in my liberty and it just doesn't leak and I'm pushing more pressure than is stock.

I have been waiting for ATI to get it together but it doesn't look like they're even trying   I need one in mine too, my Freedom is still working perfect.  I'll probably try getting hold of duy also, I've got way too many irons in the fire right now.

I have a wood stock Liberty with a slow leak that's been sitting in my gun cabinet for a few months.   I'd be happy to ship it to you in exchange for the upgrades.

That would be perfect. I'm probably looking at a month to get the measurements, make and test the prototypes then get them in production.  I want to expand the business with drop in customer install parts so there's not a large shipping charge and wait time on having to send a gun for one off repairs and to make sure each part is the same as the next.

Looking at a drop in hammer spring adjuster,  power adjuster eliminator with larger port, plenum extension on the tube with a built in reg and a factory reg delete and a reduced force valve.

Looking at a drop in hammer spring adjuster,  power adjuster eliminator with larger port, plenum extension on the tube with a built in reg and a factory reg delete and a reduced force valve.

I discovered some issues with putting a reg in the tube.  Not with the reg, the huma works very well, but the very tight air passages from air tube to the reg, effectively choking off the extra plenum.  Small passages, and fed through the threads.   I still have work to do, but the only real plenum adder is by removing the existing reg spool.
