22 marauder MMHF barrel swap question

Just a quick question for those who have this barrel. Will the factory air stripper fit right onto this barrel or will I have to do some modification? I'm just waiting to receive it. I already have one on my 25 caliber armada and that one was a direct fit. Thanks.

The .22 factory air stripper will fit. Those barrels are drop in replacements.

Thank you. I haven't really had a chance to shoot the one in my armada yet (other than in my basement) since I bought it in Dec so with the warmer weather Im really looking forward to getting out and trying some longer distance shooting with it and the marauder as well.

As stated, the factory 177/22 air stripper/shroud spacer fits the MMHF barrel.  The barrel muzzle has been machined down to fit the part.  Same for the breech end.

I don't understand how it would have fit your 25 armada, though.  1/2" vs 7/16" diameter barrels.  Jim made it custom for your armada?

Yes I got one in 25 caliber for my armada. I didn't realize he machined the 22 calibers down, I thought the whole barrel was 1/2 O.D. Thanks guys just trying to cross the t's and dot the i's before operation time!
