Fumbled across some carbon bottles on eBay. Are these a good value?

Alan, I found the same sight today LOL- the 30 min. tanks are 44 cuft. and have 7-8 years of service left- need to go through hydro-which should be no problem with these- thinking of getting 2 and cascading using Joe B's setup-you need to find a place that will fill this high(my scuba shop will fill to 4200psi, so I'm good-and might need adaptor to have shop fill from scuba to scba- let me know how it works out9have 3 pcpguns and shoot alot

That's a heck of a deal, Alan, if you are thinking of getting a PCP, it might be worth snagging one. Before you do, though, check around and see if you can find a place that will fill it. They're pretty useless if you can't get them filled, been there, done that ;-). If you can find a local place, they can also tell you where you can get it hydro'd. Later.

Call your local fire department and ask where they get their tanks hydroed and filled. They may even do it there. Very good price for a SCBA tank with 7-8 years left on the shelf life. That's actually 15 years of Fire & Rescue service. May not apply to other uses where they aren't subject to a lot of heat and stress.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Cool. I'll check into where I can get "serviced" locally. Thanks for the info.
