Okay, who's got da cookies??? LOL
I finally gave into the force and joined The Dark Side. I bought a previously owned .177 Disco from Ed that HAD been owned by Gene. So, it's been blessed by the best. I also bought a nice customized stock Gene. I got a rebuild kit for the Benji pump that came with the gun and it is not a problem for me to keep her topped off. About 50-60 pumps to take her from 1,000 to 2,000psi. But I've had a 3,000psi SCBA tank in my office for several years and just ordered a hose/adapter kit from Joe Brancato.
I've also decided to convert the gun to .22. I've ordered a barrel and TRYING to get in touch with the folks at QBMags.com to sell me a QuickShot breech. Once I get those parts in line, I'll send her off for a little machining and shroud making.
I've mounted a BSA Stealth Tactical 6-24X44 SWF scope on it. I have only put about 50 rounds through her but have so far been able to get an 8 shot group within a 5/8" target dot @ 25 yards. I'm working on that and I think the gun is capable of better.
Anyway, I'm official now I guess.

  I knew about the tank in your office but just didn't see you actually making the jump to the Dark Side. Whatever are you going to do with the rest of your collection once you experience that sweet looking Disco and "forget" about shooting anything else!? Cool that you got one worked on by Gene too. Those are some pretty nice cookies.
 
Disco has undergone some morphing lately and more on the way. I've changed the breech to a Martin Paredes multi-shot and converted to .22 cal.





It is presently in the hands of UPS on the way for a custom shroud and barrel band addition.

Well Gene, I'm sorta leaving that up to my buddy and his creativity.
I'd like to hear what David's paint roller can do to the report. I would like to fix it up so it's less than factory loud. Will have to see what comes out of it.
