Greetings.
http://www.accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=30-140R-D.png
Yesterday I put the new heavy bullets to the test, after putting the viewfinder with them at 30m.
1º-I passed crony: considerable fall of the speed, from 309m of the bullet of 75 g, the one of 140g remains in 198m xsg, loss of energy to 178 joules. I see that the valve with air outlet to 6mm, is not the height to move this bullet well. But, surprisingly it does not behave badly in precision. He makes groups of 5 shots in 1 € a to 30/37 m.The second, third and fourth shots are played. The first one a bit high in the vertical and the last two very close but a few centimeters below.
2º-Loss of the number of shots per load and greater air consumption: I have configured the Condor with hammer tension two points below 50% of the route. With the hammer of 100 grams. Deposit from 270 bar and stays in 150 bar, with a string of 8 shots. And I notice a considerable increase in the recoil in the rifle. I suppose the reason is that the valve takes longer to close firing with this bullet weight. And I suspect that part of the air is wasted in the exit.
3º - It is a mystery to me why this bullet at such low speed behaves reasonably stable. At least at short distances.I have tested at .305.304 and .303. Being .305 the best group.
