I just got a yong heng and have read through some threads for oil info. I spoke with a local piantball store which fills tanks about what lube they use. They use nuvair 751. Anyone have any experience with nuvair? Its specifically made for paintball and industrial compressors.

Giving a quick look at the specs I'd say it's a good oil. I personally use Ultrachem Chemlube 751 or 501. I think they are comparable so whichever is cheaper.

First off, thank you for considering using a proper high pressure compressor oil. The current popular opinion going around is to use Royal Purple, and while it's suitable for compressors, it definitely isn't meant for high pressure compressors.
Nuvair 751 is rebranded Chemlube 751. 751 is a good option for use in your compressor. I personally use Chemlube 501, and the difference between 501 and 751 is the viscosity, with 501 being thinner than 751. 501 is roughly an SAE 30W, while 751 is an SAE 40W. I buy my Chemlube 501 online since there are resellers out there who repackage it in smaller quantities. If you are going to order online, I'd recommend you choose 501 because of the thinner viscosity and the absolutely crappy splash lubrication system on our compressors. If you needed to get the oil locally and all you can get is 751, I'd run 751 in the compressor in a heart beat over hydraulic oil or Royal Purple compressor oil.
I see you're in Visalia. I do almost all my air gunning down in Three Rivers, and when I make it down there I'm always driving into Visalia for stuff. If I knew for sure when I'd be down there next, I'd offer to fill your compressor up with 501, but it might be a month or so before I have time to go down there. Feel free to get in touch if you ever have issues with your compressor though. I've pretty much overhauled my compressor and I keep plenty of spare parts to fix just about any failure.

1911, thanks for the offer. I ordered 751 just before I read your reply. I'll be sure to get 501 when I'm out if 751.
Thanks for everyones replies.
