Okay, my start into the PCP world has been rough. Three defective guns in a row and I really want to make my next purchase count. I'm about to preorder the new Puncher Pro 500 and I want to get some final thoughts before I pull the trigger, so I can pull it's trigger!.... ugh, that was corny...

Fourth times a charm . The puncher pro sure is a nice looking rifle . Unfortunately there’s not much info on them . From the little out there on the Kral guns , it seems they have made some changes to their probes and sears for better longevity. What caliber are you looking at getting ?

I will be getting the 25 caliber and it seems like although their mistakes have been made with the mega, breaker, and jumbo. As if what they've learned has been applied to this new rifle

I hope you have better luck this round. How about a synthetic mrod or a
sumatra they are reliable.

I like some of the Kral offerings. Well at least on the outside. It a copy of the evanix actions after all. Just less refined.
Although I want one of their bottle guns, Choosing a Turkish maked ag, while looking for perfection or reliability may be really looking in the wrong direction in my mind. Their AG's are not known for fine workmanship. Crude is sorta the standard inside. With both Turkish brands.
With that said, I would like to pick one up, install a CF Bottle and re-work the inside to my standards.
Not exactly what the new pcp shooter is looking for.
Knife.

Well guys, I scored a new job operating an under water welding robot so...... I'll be able to get any gun I want soon! Anyway.... I'll try out the puncher pro and if it works out it will eventually replace my son's stormrider.
My next rifle..... WILL BE an impact x, the one I've wanted all along. Then maybe a crown..... lol.
That daystate redwolf laminate though..... maybe in a couple years after I handle some personal things.

I'm looking at the puncher jumbo for my son. Hope PA gets them in stock soon. I've watched some videos and seems like a decent gun. Is the pro 500 just a more deluxe model.

Yea, I think so. Different stock and a bigger bottle. I love the stock on the pro 500!

Kral guns are capable with a little bit of tweaking. Troy Hammer not only managed to make final of EBR last year but at the end of day 1 (75 yards) was in about 4th place overall, so was holding his own against the much more expensive FX's & Daystates.
Latest generation have new barrels, new trigger and modified internals. Kral have also told me that they are working on a regulator but no details of when it is going to appear or on what rifle. They generally do their new releases at IWA rather than Shot Show with more details at Istanbul ProHunt Exhibition in May.
I am waiting for the Space model which I am told will go on sale after IWA.

So, the day was the 4th of this month, 2 days away from when the pro was supposed to ship and I checked the stock status of it and sure enough, THE IN STOCK DATE SHIFTED TO NEXT MONTH! Ugh, just my luck.
I said to *(&^ with it and ordered the BigMax which is mechanically the same gun but with a bottle as the buttstock.
It came in today and this is a pretty sweet gun!! It cocks really smoothly, has insanely large shot capacity, 2 really nice mags, awesome stock, and looks totally sick in person, much better than over the web especially with my big @@@ scope with hood and a DonnyFL suppressor on it. I'm pretty dam satisfied with it so far. We will see how it holds up I guess.
One issue, of course, it's me were talking about here. The screw that attaches the picatinny rail to the front was too long and the rail wouldn't tighten. At first I thought there was a burr or something stopping it so I went to tighten down on it and it stripped out the retaining screw that holds the threaded insert into the stock...... gonna need a new insert/screw set and a shorter rail attachment screw.
I promise you guys, I treat my stuff with finesse, I don't drop or bump them, they stay in the case or on the bench rest, they are appropriately lubed and are my babies..... why have I had such bad luck with PCP's?!?!?!?!
