T01 Trigger

I have a friend's Model 34 with a T01 trigger. (Date stamp is 10/90, and looking at parts breakdowns- it's a T01) The gun is practically in new condition -he says he never shot it much -probably because of the way he had the trigger adjusted. After messing with it - I've got about 1/4 inch first stage, with a real clean breaking second stage. When I'm taking up the first stage, I'm feeling a "crunching" in the trigger, almost like a spring glitching or something to that effect. Anybody have any experience with this? Maybe just needs a break-in period? Any help would be appreciated

T01 can be a sweet trigger.I have a few of them and like them much better than the T05. I had a great break down of it parts but its on my old broken PC , Ill try to find it for you. It may take some time.

Good link Red - I went there,did a search (T01 trigger tune) - and there's so many posts about it I don't think I can read them all. There's even links to lighter springs that work, etc. Good deal
