I wonder if your valve would be built into standard action / block, that the transfer port is the same size as the outlet of the valve and that the barrel length is as in your M24 what would be the power and speed oscillation, have you tried that?
I made a rough sketch just to explain what interested me.

To Bob: yes the data you write fits . The values should match. I'm not saying it's exactly right, but I don't think I made a bigger mistake in the addition than 0.5 ml (cc).

Currently, I have made one more measurement, as the previous setting was set for lower power consumption.

This new setting and data corresponds to the consistency of SD 1fps in conventional operation (normal shoting), not as in this test, where the regulator regulates only after connecting the bottle.

initial pressure  143,2bar MV 276,28m/s  residual pressure   91.8bar  ( maybe I should have waited a longer time for the thermal balancing  after the first filling of 0 bar )
initial pressure  143,7bar MV 276,24m/s  residual pressure   94.1bar
initial pressure  143,5bar MV 275,78m/s  residual pressure   95.5bar

The average user will only change the outlet pressure and that change MV with achive consistency and efficiency .
But there is one element that can be used to tune air consumption for even greater efficiency, but from a certain value it worst consistency. I will not talk about this element until the rifle is on the market.
In general, I do not count its normal tuning, as it will be set optimally to the top consistency on factory.

Do not expect too much variability with the trigger. This is quite complicated for this design.  I have my rifle trigger tuned to 300 grams  but in general it will be a higher value. 


To Atom: we have 10 pieces .177  here, so we will also used them in the second wave and we want to add .25 as standard for sale.
We do not expect larger calibers yet .

When testing .177 at a pressure of 180bar the power was about 57J for 1.03g pellets.   At a pressure of 150 bar and a power of 50J, there were 18 shots per fill.

Efficiency is lost relatively quickly when a similar valve system is applied other than directly to the barrel .

Why would you build it in to a standard action?
Altaros action is perfect for this application so why bother with a 90deg transfer??

Altaros action is perfect for this application so why bother with a 90deg transfer??

I think there is a slightly larger angle of 90 degrees;), I am interested for the simple reason that magazines can be used and to simplify the operation of this demanding mechanism of valves, hammers and triggers.

I wonder what other barrel is in this M24 .25, is the LW standard 1: 17.7 " twist, choked?

I've been patiently following this post from day one. I rarely doubt claims made by legitimate sources. I've been involved in "it can't be done" "you're full of it" type projects from the SR-71 to motorcycles and had many  naysayers myself only to prove correct. Kudos to Altaros and I think some here should anty up apologies. No one owes anyone an explanation of their forthcoming projects no matter the curiosity. Things eventually come to light. I marvel at the ingenuity in the airgun community and anticipate many "impossible" innovative designs to be commonplace.

I still think this is a boring airgun,
Biggest appeal really is that it looks like a classic firearm and not like an airgun.

So many questions about it;
do you need to shoot those perfectly made bullets for it to be that accurate ?....and how much those bullets actually cost ?
How much air do you actually have on tap ?....How many shots do you get off one fill ? because a .22 that gets 60 FPE needs a good bit of air.
So is it going to be really a bench/tetered gun ?
How long between shots ? how long for that system to recharge itself ?

Yes they probably will sell, but for me a single shot .22 when nowadays we got Hammerless actions, Semis, and all kinds or great guns out there doesn't have much of an appeal,.......but for the looks of course.

It's fine piece of engineering for sure but for me it lacks a certain quality that I like in my guns. You need to feel like you actually shot something than just pop and that's it.
A hole in a paper or a slight bing on the plate.

When I hit a plate I want it be like hammer blow, or if bigger the plate and fence goes down as the plate is flown 20-50 meters down range.
It's the energy transfer in big bores that fascinates me, and how to make it better.

I value the effort and thought that has put in to this rifle but its not for me. Accurate but not very impactful.

Also I want  to thank everyone who tries to approach the matter realistically and not like others who have said things from the beginning about fraud and similarly tuned contributions.

I apologize for the longer time since the last post, but we put all the time into completing the M24 seires.
We managed to send the first batch  rifles in the Christmas weeks.
It was a delivery across Europe. Unfortunately, for US customers and others outside the EU, we need to solve the transport problem.
Sadly is that the UPS company, which normally carries an airgun from a Dutch e-shop Krale Shop to USA and other countries they tell us they have in business terms ban on the transport of any weapons.
The same is true for FedEx, TNT, DHL and others.
We hope to resolve this issue this month.

To Atom: yes it is standard .25 airgu Lothar Walther barrel with choke, 17.7 twist.  I have been testing with this barrel special ATP smooth slugs  66 grain and almost 14 mm long with very good BC and results for 2 months now.  I have also verified that this slugs are able to fly stably even at a distance of 1400m.

Some people here talk about the prototype ( maybe because of the name  of thread) but from the first video, I made others videos with 4 others rifles with different barrels, stock and even regulators. They only had a same system from M24, which is seen here in the form of a patent.
So I'm not saying anything about a lucky constellation of stars for one rifle, but at least 5 rifles, which can rule out a coincidence.

With serial rifles complications can occur, as with any other machine. But if everything works properly, similar results are transferable.
Of course, expecting each rifle to achieve consistency, as with our record, is ridiculous. The record is because it is a unique matter.
Personally, I am very satisfied when the rifle reaches me on 25 shots SD shots around 1fps ( I will achieve this using only our slugs  ).  In addition, this value is fully sufficient for long-distance shooting.

Over the holidays we finally had a long-awaited vacation, so I had time to finish the second promised video:



After finishing the shooting, I found that I already had very little pressure in the bottle, so the regulator no longer worked on  100% ( the consistency was little bit worse) and you could see larger drop below the target.

The image quality of Arcan Optics is much better than on video. The image  worsens the use of MOA Booster and Side-Shots
