The Fortitude Gen2s went out to some reviewers after passing the QA testing. We should start shipping product shortly. We put targets in with our PCPs to show they run good. We were already testing every one for accuracy so we figured we might as well share the info. The .177 are tested with either 7.9g or 10.5 depending on the gun. The .22 are tested with our 14.3g pellets and the .25 with our 27.9g pellets. I will talk to our tooling guys about a better leade in into the rifling. I appreciate the heads up!
Maybe I'm a bit confused...Are you saying there is enough variance in the .177 off the line to warrant a change in pellet weight choice? Not being critical... just tying to understand.Edit... Wait.... Are you referring to the Fortitude or are you speaking PCP guns in general?
This thread started in January. I think there was a brief mention of a march release for Gen2 ? It's getting into April, have you tested or "Serialized" Gen2's ?

It's getting into April, have you tested or "Serialized" Gen2's ?From Crosman Engineer on March 19 - "These Gen2s should ship at the same power level as the Gen 1 with additional power available via the hammer spring adjuster. There are two reasons we have not shipped yet. First is a parts problem. We found an issue with a part and had to have them all remade. I caused one design pilot to fail QA testing as 3 our of 50 guns did not meet our expectations and it took weeks to get new parts in. The pilot guns had to be stripped and rebuilt once the new parts came in and then rebuilt and retested. This all needs to happen in conjunction with the build schedule so that the rest of our PCPs keep shipping. We are working hard on trying to get these guns out. Trust me no one wants to see these guns succeed more than I do!!! Thanks,Crosman Engineer"And more on March 31 - "The Fortitude Gen2s went out to some reviewers after passing the QA testing. Going to the max setting, doesn't provide much power increase, but reduces shot count. The min setting gets allot of shots, but beware of coming off the reg. Adjusting to 560-575fps for 10fpe, might give the longest strings.

Fortitude review from Rick Rehm. Check out all of his shooting with TEAM 1721. Lots of great stuff. 800 FPS in 22 is an "up to". We do have guns running at 800 FPS but not all there is a curve based on the regulator set pressure, hammer spring, valve spring, barrel ID and all of the other tolerances that make up the system. This also shows that we don't cherry pick guns for reviewers. We grabbed the reviewer's guns off the rack from our production pilot/QA test build. Also it looks like a run of Fortitudes might hit production this week.
