NOE pellet mold question

So, I ordered this mold a few days ago.
I'm hoping one of my three.22 Airguns likes the 20gr as I tend to like flat shooting/lower power/air conserving set-ups but wondering if anyone has tried to shoot any of these (or the heavier Magnum Hunter .22 pellets) when cast as the solid base?
The schematic shows they drop as 26gr. That's a chunk of lead in my low pellet weight airgun world!
Looking at the larger diameter schematics of slug molds intended for airguns and coupling that with how I envision a pellet skirt obturating when the blast of air hits it......... It seems that a solid base pellet would be undersized? And since there's no skirt it can't obturate to the rifling to create a nice seal. So there's going to be blow by, reduced power/accuracy etc?
I'm just thinking out loud here but would love to hear if anyone has tried pellets cast with the solid base in these .22 NOE molds.
Thanks.

I tried the solid base pellets in .30 cal, and they spiralled badly even in the 26" twist TJ's barrel.... The best shooting was the middle depth hollow base, closely followed by the lightest (deepest) HB pellet.... The accuracy fell off with the shallowest HB and was dismal with the FB.... The FB pins were something Al decided to add to the mould, in addition to the three I designed.... Nothing wrong with that, it's not like he raised the price.... and who knows, some guns might like them.... As you said, they certainly are heavy beasts....
If you notice the base diameter of the .22 cal NOE pellet is 0.007" larger than the head (like JSBs)…. I think there is zero chance that even the solid base pellet won't seal in the bore of any .22 cal airgun barrel.... If you test all 4 weights, there is no fall off in the velocity of the solid base compared to the other weights.... other than what you would expect from the extra weight.... certainly no indication of blow-by.... In my .30 cal, the FB pellet had the highest FPE, as you would expect....

I'll be casting the lightest ones to begin with when my mold gets here. I simply love the Magnum Hunters myself, these lighter pellets will be for the less powerful guns that I have.
