I really messed up this time

I let the better half shoot the Urban and guess what.......I don’t own the Urban any more! She does!!
So now I am going to order me either another Urban or a Coyote.
Looks to me like the Coyote is just a bigger version of the Urban? Longer barrel, larger air tube and a little more velocity. Is it worth the extra money??

Frank, a win win situation!....but, if you get a new one and she likes it...LOL! You might check out the BSA Buccaneer and Scorpion as they are both made by the same company and prices are very close to the Coyote. The Nove Vista Liberty has had good reviews also FYI.

I'll vouch for the Liberty, very good accuracy, regulated, lots of shots per fill and smooth side lever cocking. The only thing I can ding the wood version on a little is the weight, not that heavy mind you but a little more than I'd like.

1/2 unf threaded barrel and muzzlebrake (loud) instead of ugly can .177 or .22 or .25 is $299.99 at P.A. just about $100 more than the on sale 200$ Urbans...

I have the .177 Buc and an Urban... I do feel as a .25 the Buc/yote are under powered...

there was a flash 257$ sale on amazon for a .177 Buc yesterday... but those do not seem to come around very often...

That really does sound like a win win situation. If my wife took over my Urban I’d probably go for the Buccaneer. I’ve seen it as low as $238 on Amazon recently. Longer barrel means more power, larger air cylinder means more shots. You’d just have to come up with a way to quiet it down, but that shoulnt be too hard.

I’m thinking about the gen 1 Stormrider, Pyramid has the .177 for $129. I don’t have a .177, I’d kinda like to compare it to my .22s. A year ago a $129 multishot pcp simply didn’t exist.

Wife took a good look...ONE test shoot...and claimed this Co2 rifle as "MINE" think of the voice of the seagulls in "finding Nemo").


Could buy whatever I cared to, but no matter what, she isn't giving up this one (naturally, the care maintenance is all mine..at a more little ticky-tocky tiny action you likely have not experienced).




So count yourself DOUBLE LUCKY. Lucky #1: she wants to shoot airguns with you and #2: she picked one you can easily replace.

All I can say is be thankful it's a lower priced airgun, not a powderburner.

My wife took a shot with my old S&W pistol.  Now I don't own any Smith and Wessons; she has... "several".

No not really but I have a plan. We are going to go shooting today and the air tanks are empty, the compressor is down for service ( wink) so I will see how much she likes the hand pump!

You can't go wrong with any of the BSA guns.  Having a spouse that shoots is worth any expense; then the spouse understands what it is us shooters go through
