Seems to me that there have been a LOT of airguns rushed to market that once in the AirGunners hands, after much anticipation, there were huge disappointments. Many of these were hyped for over a year or more. But sill the quality wasn't there.


Finally we have a small, virtually custom shop offering quality. Not only in what they wish to bring us i the form of a New AG, but the many improvements, and fixes for what has either been delivered by a manufacturer and not up to par, or our wishes to improve their performance.


I for one appreciate the efforts of Travis and JSAR. They now offer a wide range of products to support our addiction. Is it any surprise they cannot magically produce everything at once?

Travis, can you tell us what style of mystery rifle you plan to sell, without giving any proprietary design info.

 I've passed up a few Black Friday sales and I don't mind waiting a month for something good. I would just like to know if it's even in the categories I like before I skip another 20% off Christmas sale.

That would be quite useful.  Hopefully a "rifle" - not a "bullpup".

I'm always blown away by the crying about a rifle not being released quick,.....like if that rifle is a matter of life or death  like if people don't have other rifles to shoot in the meantime

Man the crying for the Gauntlet was all time entertaining 

I hear of a rifle the will interest me ? ...great, I file it in the back of my brain and once it comes to market I'll take a look at it,
 don't really see the reason to stress about it


Go shoot what you got, or even buy something else in the meantime we always sell and buy rifles anyway right ?

Travis spilled some of the beans a while back. Just enough to get us salivating! If i remember correctly it is a bottle gun, .177, .22 &  .25 cal with a hi/low switch. Since JSAR is an evanix distributor now i would guess it's an evanix rifle? Go to the evanix web site , pick out your eye candy & keep your fingers crossed.

Yea, I'm the same way about new guns.  I need to see the strings and groups first along with how adjustable and how well thought out they are before even considering them.  This primarily comes from my Marauder experiences and having to basically buy the gun twice with parts to get it to my liking.


With Travis having the experiences building the WARP/Flex guns (which are all the rave) and seeing how many other guns are built too, the new JSAR gun is sure to be a hit and be a well designed and built gun.  If it's an entry level gun, it still should have a good design if nothing else.  Should be interesting...

Travis= The prototype evanix cloud could really be a hit with it's slide back lever action. Can't figure out how they get that design to work with the magazine in the rear? Hope it makes it to the market.

Just a couple things that I would comment on...
First... Travis more than likely has a bad taste in his mouth from the SPA situation. That was ugly.
Secondly... I'm just not a preorder kinda guy. Bring your product to market where it can be tested and reviewed  by someone who is not trying to sell it to me.

There wont be pre orders we will stock hundreds of these guns in the near future. All the testing etc is long done and were just getting our ducks in a row now.
