Shes a Daisy my FWB 150 Pawn shop find

Was at my local pawn shop a few month ago they had a Daisy mod 150 10 meter target rifle asking $600 I nu  it was a FWB 150 but thought Id wait a while for the price to come down.Was back last week same price so gave them my number to have the owner call me (consignment gun) he called the next day asked if he would like to trade for a Savage center fire rifle. When we met he didn't even pick up my gun he just looked at it and said sure he  just couldn't wait to get rid of that old pellet gun,he told me that he had had the gun for 27 years and had shot 15 pellets through it he even had a full bow of Beeman Silver Jet pellets mines 15. Got it home cleaned it up and shot it through the crony its shooting RWS  7gr 500 fps. shot the first 4 pellets through the same hole at 10 meters the 5th off by half a pellet. This is the first time shooting one of these 10 meter guns cant believe how easy and smooth its like winding a Swiss clock when you cock it. Have ordered some match pellets to see what it can really do. I think im in love Will try to post picks next time

Jim, I was looking at the pic's of your gun again and I have to ask is that a left hand sidelever and left hand grip or were the negatives printed backwards? Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

That happens to me when my pics are attachments. It hasn't happened since I started embedding them in the text body. I'm using PostImage, which is free and so far works great.

I think what we're talking about here is a left to right flip, which one would have to intentionally do.

I know that FWB's come in left hand versions, but I always thought it was limited to the handing of the stock and grip, not the pump arm. but I could be wrong.

You are correct, AFAIK the FWB’s came with southpaw stocks, but not with the cocking lever on the left. They are so darn easy to cock one could argue it didn’t matter! 

FWIW, amongst classic recoil-suppressed springers of that era, the Anschutz 220 and Diana 75 fixed-barrel sidelever guns actually DID come in true left-handed actions.

The older Diana 60-series Giss rifles were “ambidextrous” actions like all barrel-cockers of course, and could be had with lefty stocks. They were about the only other choice in true recoilless rifles for left-handers back in the day.

Mark - It was from one of your posted pics that I derived the info for and awareness of Postimage. I was using Photophuckit for a few weeks only because it was free with my AOL account. A real pain to use.

I'm curious about having a gun with a Giss system. Now to find a used one that I can afford.

Mr. Driskill was curious about owning a Giss gun. I am awaiting my second, a Winchester 333 rifle (or Diana 66.) I had a Diana 6G pistol rebuilt by David Slade and it is quite nice. They can be found in need of seals relatively cheap but the rebuild is not for the faint of heart. Once resealed/timed you will find them another feat of German engineering.
