got my refurbed titan yesterday i think it might be of the last run of the crosman titan now they are benjie titans anyway same problem with the pivot screw bushings barrel lose side to side going to get some of genes brass bushings and a gas ram bushing this gun is a lot different than the one i got at wallyworld last year. the chps fit the barrel tighter and you would not belive how the trigger feels almost perfect will know more after i get the barrel bushings repaired it shoots pretty good now at 15 steps ever thing looked good little ding here and there kindof wish i had bought 2 of them

I finally got some pellets so I could shoot mine today. Working on the break in period so far. Like yours, a few dings in the stock but nothing bad.

Hi
I just got one of the refurbed titans.
It seems fine.
I have tech force wad cutters in .22
they don't seat deep enough so the skirts are damaged on closing.
I made a pusher to seat the pellets deeper.
I will have to run the chrony and see if it is more consistent.

collier how is your trigger?
Between my son and I we have around 100 shots, so it isn't broken in yet, and not too quiet yet, but not bad. Most of my shooting was trial and error trying to find how the gun groups with different holds. I seem to do best with an artillery type hold, but a little more support with the shoulder and cheek. Doing that, I got one group under 1/2" at 50'. Not earth shaking, but not too bad so far. Just figured out that hold, so I will try some more shooting tomorrow. I'm sure a CDT trigger will be a help, but the factory trigger is a little better than the Daisy/Gamo springer we have.

I just got a Crosman titan GP..with a center 3-9 scope...for 60.00.... from a pawn shop ...it shoots pretty good with CP's...haven't tried for tight groups yet...
I did loosen the muzzle break and pulled it all the way out until the set screws where just biting the last 1/2" of the barrel... and it did make it alot quieter...
I could have bought two of these same guns for the same price.... but let the other one slip away... dang...
At 25 - 30 yds.. I can keep a 1" spinner looking like a fan blade...

I was trying to get this thing dialed in this morning, and got pretty frustrated, then noticed the scope mounts had shot loose. Tightened everything up and it is keeping shots on a 1" target dot, most toward the inner ring. I am shooting Cabelas hollow point pellets until it settles down. I did get a tin of RWS, so will try them a bit later. Trigger pull is very long, but consistent. Would be tough to shoot offhand, but by the time I start doing that and expecting good results, I should have a CDT unit in it. DanBrothers, congrats on the great deal.

Collier , just wait till you get that tuna trigger, I put my Titan away cause I got so tired of dealing with a 12lb trigger, Installed Charlie's trigger and it was night and day difference. Now its right on and fun to shoot for hours and try to get a better and better group. Try cphp pellets, see how they group.

Was confused by the GP/NP thing. Mine is a GP. but C8, so I guess it is high power?
A few days of shooting it destroyed our pellet trap, so I am searching for a better one. This gun reminds me of my Marlin 22. Very accurate at times, but pretty inconsistent. I guess the trigger would help, but I'd like to see some consistency before I get one.

Can someone explain this to me ? Is it a serial number thing or what ?

Hi
I seem to get the best accuracy with .177 H&N Barracuda greens.
They are some alloy and harder than the lead pellets.

no, it means the power of the gas ram. the "C7 gas ram is the lower powered version, and it has lowered cocking effort. the "C8" gas ram in the high powered one, which also has higher cocking effort, but personally i find the cocking effort very light, i feel as though you have to be a midget to not cock it.

I thought that Crosman made the Hollow Points for Cabela's, and Cabela's just threw their name on the tin?

collier there is a screw at the back of the stock trigger if it is not screwed down you might adjust it for a shorter trigger travel,if you turn it 1/2 turn at a time you might see a change
