Also noteworthy- was messaging with Thomas (Roadworthy) and he mentioned that he'd heard only Pyramyd RWS rifles have the Diana logo.  This rifle does not have the Diana logo, only RWS.  I don't have a Diana branded rifle to compare it to, but this is a very nice rifle.

  I bought a Diana 34 classic (wood stock) from Amazon a couple years ago and it has the Diana logo. The seller at the time was Outfitter Country.

At least do a re lube and de burr on the rifle.

I will for sure do a proper de-bur and re-seal in the near future.  I might just let my wife get me a fresh seal and spring for stocking stuffers.

The Vortek max power and ARH old school kits are tempting, but I might put that off until if/when the spring guide breaks.

Not going all out with a lube tune.  This gun is going to be shot a lot, which means regular maintenance.  Don't want to deal with tar, heavy grease, etc.  It will get lightly lubed with the minimum amount of moly or a quality lithium grease.  I really don't even want to fool with moly to be honest.  Krytox is tempting, so are piston buttons.  But I really want to stay as close to OEM as possible, I like it that way.

Imagine what it'll do using QUALITY pellets like JSB, Air Arms, H&N

I liked my 34P so much I got a second one,both are very accurate with H+N FTT 8.64g, 4.52 head size.Both were very dry and a little crunchy took them down both were very dry, cleaned them up deburd lite lube put back together they both shot around 725fps out of the box after tune both were about 775fps. Now both are very smooth and what great shooter these guns are not very heavy love the feel of the stock I have a 34 Classic wood stock and both P will out shoot it they seem to be less hold sensitive. Shooting of bag i can hit Rams and Pigs at 50 yards pretty much every shot.I to just love these guns best deal going for 150 bucks   

I think the stocks of the P models are well thought out.  Consistent hold comes natural with them and consistency is key for accuracy.  Guess I will have to get a 34 Classic to compare   Might have to get one in .22 as well

Seems I got a more powerful one. Mine shoots 9.75gr Winchester HP at 810fps. Even though the pellet size seems small with lose fit, it shoots accurately
