Cody, no need for the JB weld. There is a set screw in the front of the left fork that is for retaining the pivot screw. I replaced mine with a 6-32 X 3/8 cap screw. This lets you put more torque on it than OEM. The stock has to be relieved a little.
Lol. Yes it was. I bought four different ones and had to do so filing for a proper fit. I also taped some sand paper to the table and used hot glue and attached the washer to a wooden dowel to sand it perfectly flat and get it just right
