Diana 250- what is it, really?

I gotta tell you, from looking at the photos this gun is suspiciously similar to a re-badged Chinese B19 of various brands over the years.  Is this a Diana badged version?  Anyone seen any reviews?

The stock is similar for sure.  The trigger assembly, rear sight, and end cap of the compression tube are the things that caught my eye.  They look like they came straight off a Crosman Optimus!

So your guestimations are about right, I think it is a B19 platforms as well. Nothing wrong with that though, but then the price should be according to that too...

I've got a Diana 250 in .22. The scope comes with it list for about a $100 and the ZR mount is $56 so it's like $43 for the gun kinda' sorta'. I have the scope on the 250 but I'm gonna' use the ZR mount on my 470th or Mach 12.5.

The stock is very similar to the Titan stock I have one of my Crosman Storms in except it has checkering. Recoil pad is identical.

Front sight is very RWS34 looking or Air Hawkish. Rear sight is the same as the one on my other Storm. Trigger guard is identical to both Storms. (a Storm is like a Optimus)

The safety looks RWS/Diana or Air Hawk.

Can't remember the chrony numbers but I don't recall being disappointed.

Doesn't shoot real tight but I think a GRT trigger will fix that. Me and my air gun smith buddy think one will fit. The trigger is very Crosman like.

I tried to see if it would fit in the Storm or Benji stock but the way it's cut at the back to fit the RWS/Air Hawk like safety prevented that.

The DIANA 250 is to a B-19 what a Mercury would be to a Ford.
They share common parts, but some of the parts have been refined. And, of course, there is the "bodywork" difference.
In the case of the 250, the barrel block to forks attachment was revised and two hollow pins with scalloped ends now make the attachment much more solid than in the original B-19
The other thing that is changed is the trigger and safety.
These are the two areas shooters most complained about from the original B-19.

Accuracy is so so. Maybe needs more breaking in or trying more pellets. As I said above the trigger is not great. I'm going to get a GRT trigger for it. I think that might make a difference. We'll see.
