Undeniable is the fact that the PCP world today is vastly different then only a few years back,

The guns...what an unbelievable selection nowadays,
 ammo...man incredible,
 tuning/aftermarket...all kinds of mind blowing stuff out there.

But the most exiting stuff for me is the coming of High quality Hand Pumps at super cheap prices.

If you asked me a couple years back I would have said the only way to go was HILL.

Just now I finished doing a rebuild on my HILL and I'm thinking 300 bucks for the pump and almost 40 bucks for the rebuild Kit.


I just got one of the new generation Chinese pumps for Amazon Prime for 53.99 buck, and it works great ( I had one in a few years back for reviewing and I was impressed )

Anyway, I can buy 6 of this pumps for the price of a HILL and a pump for just a bit more then a repair Kit.


You know I'll be stocking up on several of this pumps

And the industry is taking notice... with affordable compressors.... and refurb tanks....

All I wanted as. Kid was to have a few shots ready in a magazine like my AR7 .22lr....so i could bring the pain to the squirrels without noise. And now? Lots of options.... ways of filling.... candyland to me.... UNTIL I WAKE UP AND GET MY WALLET!! AND SHE SAYS "NO WAY" LOL!

Manny I bought the TAOUSA quite some time ago for about $125 and I have been literally abusing that hand pump since with absolutely no problems and still going strong.  It replaced my Benjamin pump that I got with my Disco which was no good.  I've since bought one of the stainless cheap ones in case the TAOUSA gives out but haven't needed it yet.  That was when the super cheap ones came out at about $75 which is probably the same thing that you bought for $53.99.

Manny a while back I seen where the price of the G7 has dropped considerably and that's basically what my TAOUSA is an exact clone of, I think the G7 is cheaper now than what I paid for my TAOUSA!

That cheapy that I bought actually came with water in it for cooling, it's never leaked water but I haven't used it a lot.  I don't know if they're still using water in them now though.  There are you tube videos showing how to change the water.

20 tins of .22 15,89gr with 500pcs each tin are only 222$ including free shipping too

but thats the only benefit living in europe.. when we talking about airguns.

Couple weeks ago went to rebuild one of my two HILLs because it stopped working and it was a mess, so I tossed it and will never spend 300 bucks on a pump ever again,

will order 3 more of those I just bought and with the Hill still standing will give me plenty of air

manny, when those hand pumps from china made available here in philippines by local vendors,, i bought 2 thinking it might fail,,i have one heavily used but not abused hand pump and a brand new one collecting dust lol..now i have the yong heng , so two of them are collecting dust

Manny your local conditions are about what we have had here in central VA this year (longest dry spell was 5 days), and my Benji pump finally gave up the ghost.  Been contemplating just building an Ark to deal with the rain, but while I make a decisions about that, I just pulled the trigger on that pump you linked from Amazon since squirrels won't be allowed on board the Ark

Maybe I'll take the Benji pump apart and fix it after running my backyard through a dessicant air-drier

Been using one of the cheap Chinese pumps for +3 years without an issue. figured I'd test it until it died....it didn't die....but the Hill pumps did die from neglect while I was testing.

I do take the rifles apart pretty often, and when I do open one up, it always gets a tube inspection.  No rust in the air area.

I'd still take them apart if I were a tank or compressor filler...just not that trusting.

Very true Manny! I got my first pcp last December, bought another one a few months later and have been filling them with a Hill Pump and a Chinese EBay Pump, both work perfectly. I purchased the Chinese Pump so I didn’t have to switch a fill probe out and have never looked back since! My friend GAVE me a Yong Heng (he dropped it I fixed it) and have not used it to fill any of my pcp’s because the hand pumps are so simple. My next purchase will be a carbon fiber fill tank but in no rush as these pumps work well for me. Amazon sells a Taousa rebuild kit that I believe should fit the Chinese pumps if you don’t want to size the o’rings out.

Thanks Manny, I am going to order one to use with the Leshiy so I don't have to worry about my compressor failing every time I run it for 15 seconds lol.

don't hAve the right stuff to get my yong heng running where I'm at so I insult ordered me the backup pump I've been putting off for over a year. Just got the one you recommended since your a trusted source in the air gun community Idk why I waited so long 48bucks! I was thinking 300 or 300 to a new gun 54 dollars should have done this long time ago so I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now. new gun no air... thanks for the recommendation manny

Just waiting for this pump to come back available on Prime to order 3 more,...there's a few in the same price range but come under a different name, pretty sure they are probably all the same but just in case I'll wait, need to make sure of parts compatability as they eventually will break down.

I will say my shoulders and triceps were getting YUGE and my cardio vascular system got a work out when I pumped the Hill. Maybe I should start using that thing again.
