airpressure on discovery

I have had this Beeman Disco (?) about a year but used it very little. It has had about 1500 psi when stored. Shot it down today and filled it (hand pump) to about 1800. When I bled the pump it dropped to about 1200. Repeated three times, same results. I used a slow bleed off each time, problem solving help or ?  Any advice appreciated.  Bob

Bleed quickly. Bleeding slowly causes back pressure on the fill fitting, keeping it open and lets it drain the gun. Bleeding quickly also helps purge moisture out of the pump.

Don't slow bleed it  it will let out more air  bleed it fast

Bled it off fast this morning, pressure stayed up. Thanks again.  Bob

if you ever need to degas the gun,
you can bleed out most of the air from the cylinder if you go super slow on the bleed and barely open it till you hear a tiny hiss.
