This looks to be the official Nova Liberty Thread. So after a few years what are experiences, agreements on a few things like. What are the problem spots, any way to pre protect from wear, damage?Poppet: Replace with Delrin or Peek. Spare parts are not available outside of buying a non-warrantee customer return. What is the best way to get more power from the gun, any issues/damage popping up from drilling out barrel, upping reg, shimming hammer spring? I would rather just disassemble the rifle once or twice to up the power instead of doing it over and over again, experimenting and possibly damaging things. I think I will just wait until after warranty.Enlarge barrel port, shim hammer spring, increase reg pressure. What about cleaning the barrel, best method, best product, any issues down the line.No O-ring in barrel to worry about. Everyone has their own favorite chemicals and method. I use a pull through cleaner/snake.Any mods definitely recommended for improved reliability/durability/performance, any that are having issues. Tips for working on the gun.See video.Any pellets or slugs that really stand out for the majority of these guns, is there a magic velocity we should shoot for with certain pellets/slugs.Many have good luck with JSB 15.89/18.1g and H&N Barracuda Match 21g, somewhere in the 800's, but low 900's can work. AVS slugs were design, and tested with Libertys, obtimum in lower 900's.Any Rings/Scope combo's that do really well, best bang for your buck.Another personnel preference. Pick based on what you will specifically be doing with gun and range. What backstops are people using to try to stop pellets from penetrating, lots of scrap wood being throw out for the past few weeks but I have been finding it is still putting pellets though most wood/fiber board, even close to a inch thick. I did screw 3 pieces of wood together for a backstop that stopped pellets from going through, was thinking of some kind of cheap metal plate that could be bought at Lowes or Home Depot to stop pellets.Wood will eventually get destroyed. Many here use the rubber mulch or a putty that name escapes me for the moment. I use an old wood stove in the basement and embankment outside.

Consider starting new threads on specific questions.
Capt O-ring has the kit for all the O-rings in the Liberty.Duy (Dark_Chrisma), a member here, makes the peek poppets and also performance valves.Yes, grease/oil the fill probe O-rings, mainly to minimize wear from inserting. Silicone oil or grease is no problem inside the gun. Do the same for the probe O-rings. Only do the internal O-rings when you take it apart and expose or replace those.
Problem is, I usually don't have anything to say!
