That wasn't peek it was delrin. Just did a 10 shot shot string with the stock valve that I ported. It's using Duy's delrin replacement poppet for the stock valve. It sealed up right from the start with no reworking at all. Efficiency ended up being 1.46 which I figure is pretty good.

I have two libertys, wood stock and synthetic. The wood I have shimmed the hammer and turned up the reg. The syn is pure stock. Today I planned to heat up the syn and thought I would run a string for a base line.
Started at 3200 then to 2,900 to 2,800 to 2,500 to 2,200 to 2,000 ended at 1,800.
Going to leave this one stock for plinking and back yard vermin.
PS took one shot before at a target and one shot after and got one large hole. I know not pic so it did not happen but I know it happened and had no plans before I shot this string to post. Was at 25yds.

If those were my numbers (in the high 800 & low 900') I'd be thinking about trying something like the JSB 18.13's

Well, so much for the delrin poppet!! lol I went to do a shot string to see if I could get more shots per fill. Had everything setup and went to take the first shot and nothing? WTH??? I had filled it to 3800 psi so thought well maybe I had enough reg creep to lock the valve up. Nope! Had a heck of a time getting the pressure out of the plenum area.

Looks like the stem was driven through the end, and Delrin slid down, and why the plenum didn't leak down.    Peek should be allot stronger, for high reg set-points and/or using allot more energy to hit it. 

I guess it is good to keep the C-clip on, for our Delrin converted poppets.   

Actually, the part that probably prevents this, is the flared out part of the stem, before the poppet material.

Silent squirrel, the reason I switched to the hades 15.9 is they seem to dump more energy it the rats or tree rats that I’m shooting. Less through and through when I switch to low power. ( about 750 FPS and 20 FPE and still very accurate at 25yds) Being a backyard situation I try to avoid a pellet going through a squirrel and continue on to who knows where. 20 FPE is way more than I need but like to make sure they expire on the spot. Head shot and DOA when the hit the ground with very little pass through if any. I shoot the 18s out of my other liberty when I’m out in the field and love them.

Since eradication of the entire population is unrealistic; my goal is to etch this area as a death zone into their DNA memory.

So ATI was unable to repair my cousin's  leaking Liberty and sent us a replacement, as expected.  We decided to purchase the leaking gun in hope of eventually being able to have it repaired.  The order was placed Friday and by Tuesday afternoon we had received both guns.  They have really good customer service . 

When I went to remove the open sights on the new gun, the front sight wouldn't budge, whatsoever.  I'm assuming there's threadlocker keeping it in place.  Nearly broke the allen key trying to loosen its.  No worries, though ...I'm sure it'll come off with a little heat. 

This wasn't the case with the other two Liberty's I mounted scopes on.  On those guns   the front site came right off with little effort.  I'm just curious to know if they're being shipped with threadlocker now from the factory?  Also, the o-rings (bolt probe, fill probe) on the new gun don't look nearly as dry as the ones on our first two guns.  The action/side-lever is also buttery smooth out of the box.

None of my Liberty's were hard to remove the front sight.  One warrantee gun and four parts guns.  One of those part's guns was missing the sights, so guess that didn't count.   

I'd verify if it is thread locker and not cross-threaded or over-torqued.

Anybody know what the screw size is for the front sight? I installed the barrel band from a freedom on my Aspen. When I removed the front sight on my Liberty I thought I had put the screw in with the sight but no joy.

Just did a little tuning on my Liberty with the ported stock valve and the reg turned up 1/8 of a turn. Ended up with 956fps with a cuda 21.14 pellet which is 42.9 fpe. It's not using all that much psi per shot either.

I don't know what the sizes are, but I have 2 different sized screws on my Freedoms front sights, so that may cause you some grief.

I don't have any known fixtures to 100% confirm, but get 2.91mm OD on the threads, and the pitch looks like it matches 0.5mm.  So think it is M3 x 0.5mm X 6mm SHCS.  This is for the Liberty front sight.

That will help with the first shot being 20fps faster. Maybe shoot for 920's.

I read that. And you shouldn't have to do a clearing shot if you adjust the hammer spring to compensate for the creep. Did you know if you back it off too much that the first shots will start off 20 fps slower?

Heck, just letting it sit for a half of an hour and the regulated pressure will raise. Robert, I'm just trying to help you get it tuned so you don't have to waste a clearing shot. You dont have to except it as being the nature of the reg. You can tune around it. It would be very simple with the hammer spring adjuster you have.

I have the exact same gun with the same creeping regulator! I pulled the gun from the rack where it sat for over a week now. Had about 2900 psi in the tube. Hooked to my compressor and topped it off to 3600. No clearing shot! 913, 907, 910, 911.  Came back 4 hours later. 907, 911, 908, 910.  No voodoo going on, just balancing the hammer strike to work within a certain pressure range.

I'm using my HS adj to adj vel for different wt. pellets and slugs. From 17.9 gr sniper mag up to 26.1 gr AVS slug.
