as far as parts and spares, no.

but its a 55 fpe rifle for an extra $55 for +-15 shots. 62 fpe for $155 at -+8 shots. no need to change barrel for slugs.

Brother Duy still clearing a shooting lane, raining and hot, but starting to cool off some....  If I can I will just go to the range, but would rather be close to home if I need something...  How is the hammer spring adjuster coming along ? I don't think that plenum will fit in the stock.. And a big thanks for the birthday present !!

hey Ray, still trying to find a couple of hours straight to sit and make a bunch of small parts,  slug probes, hammer weights and valves to send out to some peeps, haven't forgotten about ya. tell your son to cut ya a lane.

i really need a full day off to do all this stuff, i just gotta get the tests results on the big plenum out first.

Just filled my 80cf tank, to get ready for this weekend, my Lib's are extremely accurate and within my shooting comfort zone of about 45 yards the Lib's just don't miss.

I'll be playing around with the poppet soon as I get it, to see if I can come up with an easy fix ... we will see.

let me clarify that a bit. $55 for valve and $155 for plenum. not $155 total. its not solid yet but expect more in the ball park of $155-$175. Billy gets to pick because hes the guy that actually buys the material and makes it and knows what it costs to run a cnc batch. all the while still trying to find a way to make it $125...but we will see wont we? 7068 is not cheap, 7075 is a bit better in pricing.

I'm hoping to get some time Friday, to find the leaks on my two parts gun Liberty's, so was brushing up watching one of Stephen's videos, specifically on the regulator removal and installation.

I'm hooked on them all John, I'll be getting one of the ATI's back out soon, thinking about putting the UTG Swat scope back on the Freedom soon.  What I need to do is get me another decent scope, I've been tempted to try one of the 12x Centerpoints, I've heard they're a half way decent scope for the money

I have been rereading this thread from the beginning.  WOW!  Lots of good info, but it gets confusing at times because some are referring to the Liberty and some to the Freedom.


I think it is about time for the Freedom/Aspen and Liberty to get their own dedicated Gates.

Kerry there's definitely a boatload of fantastic info throughout this entire thread !!!  When working on the ATI's my main tools are the manuals, my trusty ancient Craftsman verier calipers and if need be a complete teardown of which ever gun it is that I'm working on.  The last time I had my Liberty apart my thoughts were I'm going to need to go through this gun with a fine tooth comb.  As of yet I really haven't done that but eventually I will.  I've worked more on the Freedom myself, it's such a handy gun out in the woods that leaves a person worry free about everything except whether or not they brought enough pellets.

I don't have a Liberty, but I do have 3 Freedoms and I have yet to really tear down any of them.   I haven't even gotten half way through re-reading this thread from beginning to end!

It just seems to me that it would serve the interests of the users AND the moderators if there was a dedicated Gate for these guns.  Especially the Freedom.

As I have said more than once before, it is an industry game changer!  IMHO

To be honest, I think that would be great too.   There are SO many Gates on GTA that seem to be unused, for the most part.   At least with Brand specific Gates users could go where their interests lie and all of the information would be more neatly contained and easier to find.   We all know the search function on GTA leaves a lot to be desired.

I ran a BBS before the WWW/Internet came along, so I do know something about running a message board.   I think the real problem is the GTA already has so many Gates that are rarely used that the admins/moderators simply don't want to clean it up and simplify it.

Anyway, it was just a suggestion and I did not really think it would be acted on...  (sigh)
