Maybe try a small easyout bit to get it out.

Maybe try a small easyout bit to get it out.Why when it's so easy to just punch the pin that hold the trigger to the trigger mount? To use a easy out you will need to drill it and risk and if you slip with the drill....... The grub screw may also catch and drive up into the sear possibly bending it. You don't have to mess with the pin that holds the sear just the one for the trigger.
I ordered a .22 Liberty this morning and received an order confirmation moments after. It's been several hours now, but still no shipping info. Earlier this year I ordered a Liberty for my cousin and don't recall receiving any tracking info for that order either....it just showed up a week or so later. Has this been the case for the rest of you?
Cool. Then it’s definitely worth the 4 minutes! One note of caution- I tried to screw the original ones in a little tighter. I though they were setscrews. THEY ARE NOT!it’s a small, shouldered bolt; and I almost stripped them.
Yep, if they as in the mfg can save $.10 on a product they will. What I don't understand is why they put that set screw in the back threaded hold instead of not drilling and tapping the front hole and using it to fire the rifle. Forget the front hole and install the screw in the back hole! Now with the money they save from two less machining process and the set screw they could use the ball tip set screw.
You forgot the lawyers and the politicians !!
