BTW, I just read that the checker cab company were manufactured for sometime in Kalamazoo. There are two restored cabs in the Gilmore museum. Very cool. Last one was produced in 1982. Found a similar one but they had the straight back vs cupped. And they were sold out of CA, not NY. Tried multiple different searches, but could not find them.

The CA slugs are probably Varmint knockers and the guys over in AGN love them. He's out of San Diego and does it one at a time like Stephen.
