Bleh, some new news on my side. Whilst filling up yesterday I hear a new hisssss, upon closer inspection it seems that my cylinder is leaking from the filling side, but not from the gauge. Has anyone opened up the cylinder? How would I go about this without damaging it? My first thought was to stick a screwdriver through the filling port holes and just twist, however I fear that this might damage the seal when filling going forward.

Hannes if you don't already use rubber gloves with pcp's they're invaluable for twisting stuff on a pcp's. I don't know which gun you're talking about the Liberty or the Freedom

I've got good manuals that I got from drop boxes in this thread and others and if you don't already have those I'd be getting them too. Personally I just recently got all the o rings from the o ring store for my second Freedom and I'll be tackling that puppy soon myself, my first non warranty Freedom is all that I've been using for hunting in my last several hunts. As for using anything in that fill port I'd try matching the fill port size with a rod the same size with a smooth surface so you don't mar the inside of it. Best case scenario would be a perfect fit brass rod but I'd probably use the smooth end of a drill bit myself, that would work.

Great advice on the rubber gloves thank you!!! It's for the Liberty. Will give the gloves a try and if that does not work will go for a perfect fit rod.

A screwdriver wrapped with a piece of leather or a couple layers of duck tape will keep things from getting marked up. Nothing has been super tight on my liberty.

Wayne I have 2 of the VT-T 6-24x50 they are excellent, even without taking the price in consideration. Now, after adding one of those to the Liberty I realize that it make the rifle heavy, good for shooting from the table, not so good for shooting in the woods, as you are. So if I were on the market for a scope this is the one I'll be buying for the Liberty

Only 18Oz, I'm sharing because I hope I can help someone to avoid my mistakes.

Fun fact, I like how the big scope works on my Taipan Veteran, I don't know if it's because the Taipan is short and the Liberty is long and the extra weight makes the entire thing a bit awkward .

Real nice find John! Thanks for posting this. I have been using the roller tip screws i found but could not get two stages.

This works great! I Have a longer screw in the G position to move the trigger back a bit so I still do not have a safety but that is just a matter of shortening the set screw in the safety lever which I will do now. I rarely use the safety anyway.

The pointed set-screws can be found at McmasterCarr or many other places. $2.82 for 25, in SS: https://www.mcmaster.com/91217a175
These are the same length as the ball-point ones. If longer are needed, 16mm length in alloy, is available.

The ball-point ones were posted earlier in this thread. They were a little pricey at around $5 each. These should be just about as good.

PS: I wasn't expecting any of the DIYers here to pay $30 for set-screws.

The drawing, info, and going without spring, I thought would be of interest. I haven't tried the set-up myself, yet.

It's a "Feeler Price" to feel-out what the level of pain is needed to extract peoples money. If it doesn't sell at that price then they reduce it because inventory is backing up. It's S.O.P(Standard Operating Procedure)marketing practices for all companies whom sell stuff.
