Bob Haj has a video on installing baffles and the air stripper, these won't be from Haj but they're basically the same thing.  I'll still take a pic of them though, it might be some time before I install them though.  I've got quite a bit of stuff I want to do to it the next time I pull the action out of the stock, I really need to do some sanding on the inside of the stock for a better fit as well, it's very tight.  I also want to address the air leak as well.  I just checked a little while ago and it seems to stop leaking at about 1900psi every time so at least I won't be doing a full charge on it every time I fill it.  I'll probably take it out hunting some more before I do take it apart.

Bob she's a little on the loud side but not super loud like my Disco, a fellow GTA member offered me a spare set of baffles and an air stripper and I said heck ya, I got a message from him yesterday and they're in the mail right now.  My Airmax Dominator is quieter but I am doing 38fpe with that gun and it has a good working LDC on it as well so hopefully when I put the stripper and baffles(3d printed) it'll quiet it down some.

Wayne it would be great if you could take a photo of the stripper & baffles before you install them and let us know how it works out.

Agree! I'm interested in this too... this subject came at the time I was doing a video on a DIY moderator for the Liberty, I couldn't finish this weekend but the project is working awesome... will post here first when the YouTube video is completed.

Good morning all

I have a bit of an odd scenario.

My nova shoots insanely accurate, I sight it perfectly, bring the gun back into the house, the next morning it's out left/right by an inch. No clue as to why.

Could this be due to the barrel being dirty?

PS. Have not cleaned it at all.

On the cleaning: I was thinking barrel rod and nitro solvent, is this fine?

I am sorry I do not have an answer to your question, but I am not satisfied with the accuracy of mine and maybe I am expecting too much but what do you call insanely accurate?

While it is a good idea to clean the barrel, I don't think that is causing your issue. 

Are just the first few shots off, and then back to the prior poi?  If so, maybe reg creep.

Typically, I'd look for a shroud/support issue, but that is with floated barrel/shroud guns.  The Liberty shroud is tied to air tube with its barrel band.

If you are storing the gun horizontally, try vertical.  Visa versa. 

Have you eliminated the scope as an issue?  Is it near it max adjustments?

Also, if not already, use the SS tray vs the mag.  Some have reported shifts in poi using the mag.

At 15m I shoot a single hole, at 25m it's a 5 leef clover, and at 50m it's about half an inch group.

Hey Orion, the small one you see me holding in the Hajimoto video the is 7" I made a few months ago. It uses felt with hair curlers and plastic washers. If you look back on my video from last year and 2 years ago, Hatsan QE shroud extension and how to make a shroud  videos, I have been making these for my guns for years. I found that using thin gauge alunminum with plastic washers and hair curlers with felt is the most quiet. The PVC just adds too much diameter on the outside and very little in the inside due to it's thickness. I've made 5, 6 and 7 inch airgun moderators and found 7 inches to work best with the Nova liberty.

You can find the plastic 1" diameter washers on Amazon but they are not cheap. You can use metal washers but they clang against the aluminum.

somehow  I missed your reply and it's just now that I see it.

Hey quick question, yesterday I drilled the barrel to 3/16 but it was a pain to sand the bur specially in  the inside and I'm not even sure if I did a good job or not, any hint on how to get a smooth internal?

I used one of the heads of my dremel that was long enough and thin enough but did the job carefully by hand. Then I ran a cleaning cotton patch and noticed it came without any damage, originally was coming with a small hole, but again I'm not sure how you guys are doing it.

My Liberty is amazingly accurate everytime as long as I can do my part.  The pellets that I use I cast myself so they're all between 19.5 and 19.7 grains but most of the last ones that I cast were mostly 19.62 - 19.64 grains.  That's why I've been calling them 19.6 grainers because that seems to be a good average weight.  I have been using pure lead up until my last run, they're much prettier pellets but honestly I can't see much improvement in accuracy from the pure lead ones, they both shoot excellent.

my latest design installed into a .177. making 33fpe at 980fps for 15.5 grains slugs. only 15 shots for 1000psi used. very inefficient but if tuned down at 30fpe at 930fps should give 20 shots.
