Wayne, I think you'll like the rifle after you shoot it, I just wish it was about a pound and a half lighter like my Marauder is now with the JSAR air tube. Was shooting mine quite a bit this morning and noticed a few things I'll share with everyone, I was shooting JSB 18.13's until my 15.89's get here from PA, was using the single shot tray and shooting at 30 yards, accuracy was very good, had lubed the pellets with the Napiers that finally showed up and was very happy with the groups. When I switched and started using my Marauder mags instead of the ss tray my group moved to the right 1/4 to 3/8". Went back to the ss tray and group was dead on again. Then switched and tried the mag for the Liberty, the group moved 1/8 to 1/4" right again. Went back to the ss tray and group was dead on again. To be clear here, the pellets still grouped well when using the different mags, they just moved to the right for some reason. Gonna shoot some more and see if this continues to hold true, if so I'll have to adjust if I want to keep using the mags.

It goes in too far the way it is but it's a nice stainless probe too, it was on the pricey side ($26 to my door) though. Wayne, it looks good and I think that for the price it is worth it because it is SS and has the DIN fitting machined in. The measurement that I used was that the probes fill hole has to be 5/8" from the bottom of the fill port.

Tom, that's interesting and strange. The pellets skirt are probably being distorted, do to a slight side pressure, from the magazine. I will have to check this out by doing the same tests.

Today was the day to test things, almost dead calm, sunshine, and 70 degrees.

Just did the same test over again on the chance it was the shooter, and got the same result. Got a real confidence boost as I was shooting acorns off the manhole cover at the back of my property 55 yards from my window where I sit to shoot. Used my laser range finder on the side of it to verify the distance, only wish I still had my little action camera to set out there for verification. $:-\$ I picked 15 acorns up off my deck that needs to be blown off, and set them on the lid of the manhole about three inches apart. I missed four times in total to hit all 15 acorns, now if I can only repeat that in May at the paintball shoot at Horseshoe Bend Ak.

The only problem is Keith (triggertreat) won't be there to compete against.

He will be missed this year, just hope he enjoys the wedding his wife is having (making) him attend.

Thanks Tom and Bob !!! If the gun even holds a candle to my Airmax Dominator's accuracy I'll be happy, I think for the first woods walk with it I'll carry it with the open sights. I just checked the fill pressure on it after putting a meager 1K in it about 15 hours ago and it's holding good at 1K but the true test will be after refilling it to about 3500psi (that's where I plan on filling it to) and then I'll see how it's holding pressure

I realized tonight that I had not posted any groups from my Liberty yet so I thought I'd shoot some 5 shot groups and post what I'm getting. This is the good, the bad, and the ugly, crosswind tonight blowing 3-5, target at 30 yards, unsorted JSB 18.13's straight from the tin but sprayed with Napiers pellet lube. Nothing cherry picked. Not as tight as yesterday with almost no wind but wanted it to represent real-world examples.

I stripped it down with intentions of just putting clear on it. But once i finished it was pretty blonde and not much contrast in the grain. Might be birch or the likes. So i wet it and set it out to dry and raise the grain. I happen to have some ebony stain in the cabinet and put 2 coats on, hitting it with steel wool in between coats. Finished er up with 3 coats of poly.

You have definitely succeeded in lifting the grain and giving it much more contrast. Great job because it looks much better and you made it your own Bro!

Just for grins, I tried to replicate tracker1955's poi shift with the single shot tray vs mag. With the ATI mags, shooting H&N 18gr Sniper Magnum's, I got about the same 1/4" shift when using the stock mags vs the single shot tray.

The interesting thing is I got zero poi change when using the Gauntlet mags. I have four of them, and found that they all preformed exactly the same. The Gauntlet mags are a tight fit, and snap into place with much more "authority" if that makes any sense.

I'm glad someone got a similar result to mine, also glad to hear that the gauntlet mags caused no shift. If the Liberty mags cause a 1/4" shift at 30 yards imagine how much more pronounced it would be further away at 50 60 or 70 yards. That and the Marauder mags I was using was even worse.

My Liberty1(sent back) and Liberty2, which I have now, both had that date on them which surprised me.
I initially heard that they were manufacturing date but I wonder about that.

Boy I haven’t tested that. I’m shooting with the magazines and I’m having great accuracy at 30 yards. Will test and report back
