Good morning allAs per my previous post I upped the HST to 5 shims, and I continued to turn the reg down a bit (about a quarter turn). The Monster's are running at a calculated 920fps. Will most likely only get to a chroni during next week and will then do a quick shotstring. Some observations:1) This thing hits insanely hard!!! With a one shot kill of a pest bird (mynah) at 70m yesterday afternoon, I could hear the pellet hit.2) Air usage per shot: I got about 30 shots from 50 bar. However I have no clue where it will fall off the reg, will only be able to confirm once I get a chroni.3) Gun has increased a fair amount ito recoil, so definitely something to consider for the guys using scopecams.4) Sound/volume wise, there as been a slight increase ito volume, however the silencer still does the trick.
And this is without changing the TP?

I seem to remember someone posted that they only fill to 3,600 psi because that was the start of their optimum pressure?stretch, I think I'm having the same drop in pressure that you just described, I'll keep an eye on it

It looks like the pressure went, oh so very slightly, -up-! So I probably don't have a leak and I'm guessing that the very slight changes in needle position are caused by something else (maybe atmospheric pressure?).
Stretch, i only fill mine to 3600-3500psi. at 4000psi, it is runing low fps. too low to be included in a shot string with 30fps spread. even at 3600psi, i would waste 10-15 shots before the velocity is within range. your rifle may act differently. so it helps if you have a chronograph to watch the shot string from 4000psi. my POI drifts from left to right as the velocity climbs from 880 to 950 with cphp 14.3 grains. thats from 4000psi to 2600psi. from 3600 to 2600 psi. its consistant for 40 shots at 950fps.
Has anyone done a shot string with the rifle set on low power?I ran a few shots just after receiving mine to see what the FPS difference was but haven't done anything more extensive.CPHPs (14.3gr) at full power were at ~900fps and on low power were at ~700fps.H&N Baracuda Hunter Xtremes (18.52gr) were ~850fps and ~650fps respectively.I think I'd filled the rifle to ~3500psi for those shots and to leak test (no leaks so far).Aside from those few shots I've ran a few more down the barrel to sight in a scope I mounted. The rifle has been very consistent and I haven't seen the POI wandering around in anyway yet.Wheelman
Look what arrived. More than what I need. Just need to turn it down. Made the block up last night. Drilled the hole in the stock but didn't take a pic.

Are you planning on pinning the block either on the sides or the bottom using a longer stock screw?
@Stephen - What are your 50 yard groups looking like after your work on the crown and other mods? Since we're both mostly interested in long(ish) range target shooting I plan on following your footsteps...
