I have finally gotten a chance to shoot again today. I got 90 shots on high power from 3700 to 1900 psi. I am thrilled with that!! I haven’t cleaned the barrel yet and only have maybe 140-150 shots through it total. Here’s my 10 shot groups at fifty yards. The best one is with H&N crow mags. Eliminate the one flyer and it was 5/8” ctc
I haven’t posted in this thread for awhile because I was watching all the posts about mods and tuning. Well, I haven’t done any of those and i’m not sure that I will, given what happened yesterday.Out at the range again and we hung an empty 12 gram CO2 cylinder at 60 yards. I was repeatedly hitting it (and leaving some deep dents) with the JSB 15.89 pellets. As a final shot, I shot it off of the string. This rifle really makes me look good! Hehe.No other issues to report as of yet. No leaks, no POI shifts, and the Gauntlet mags work just fine. Please excuse me while I go try to wipe the smile off my face... again.

Hey Greg, it makes me happy to hear your awesome experience with this gun. As I mentioned in my review, this is, at least to me, the first REAL $300 PCP air gun that is ready to go right out of the box. No need to do any modifications. Out of the box 900fps with an 18grain, 80 to 90 shots regulated. This is the gun that all other $300 to $500 pcps will be measured against. Now all the other manufacturer s will have to up there game if they want to sell PCP airguns.
I own both in 22cal, before putting a lightweight air tube and Huma on my Synrod the two rifles weighed about the same except my Liberty is wood stocked. To get what the Liberty offers at $329 required adding $120 to the cost of my Synrod ( a Huma Reg ) and the Liberty is still more powerful with its regulator, has a smooth side lever which I love by the way, and adds a power adjuster. My Synrod is still quieter than my Liberty but I find the liberty to be very back yard friendly. The trigger pull is much lighter on my Synrod with the lawyer spring removed than the Liberty's, but the Liberty's action breaks cleaner with less creep than my Synrod. I will say this however, I find myself reaching for the Liberty when I wanna shoot more so than I do the Synrod or my Disco.
Does anyone have experience with the JSB Monster 25.39gr pellets in general and this rifle specifically? What speed do they run at optimally and what speed should I aim for, 850fps again?

However it is true that domed pellets tend to achieve an optimal ballistic coefficient with muzzle speeds in the range of 800fps - 900fps so that's a useful practical reason to want the velocity a bit higher. It also eases things with respect to cant error and pellet drop on shots at longer distances, say, beyond 50-75 yards.
I have a thousand rounds plus through my 22 and have had no problems with the bolt orings. Glad to see someone address improving efficiency as well as power. I only added 2 small shims to mine and am averaging 875 fps with 18.1 JSB's which is about perfect for me with 30 FPE. The side cocking lever could probably handle a stiffer spring. Good idea.
