Have you tried the 10.34gr AA/JSBs? That's what my .177 preferred. The 8.44s were just ok out of it

For anyone who is interested, I measured the magazine from these Liberty's and compared them to the Gauntlet and Marauder magazines.  They are essentially identical.  I also tested fitted a .22 Gauntlet mag and .22 Marauder mag in my .177 Liberty.  The Gauntlet mags seems to fit better than the Marauder mags.  The Marauder mags fit a bit loose and felt sloppy where the gauntlet mag snapped in place just like the Liberty mags do. 

This is actually good news because the Gauntlet mags are generally cheaper than the Marauder mags.  Obviously I couldn't test the actual functionality of the mags since all I have are the .22 mags for the Marauder and Gauntlet, but I did order a couple .177 Gauntlet mags from Amazon, so I'll know for sure when they arrive.

Good to know. I’ve been waiting for this info. I’ll probably order a couple of Gauntlet .22 mags off of Amazon then. I did see that they have spare mags for sale on the AT site, but they charge the same to ship 1 mag as they do an entire rifle.

Not yet, the heaviest I have at the moment are the 10.5gr CPUM's and the H&N Sniper Magnums, but I haven't tried them yet. 

When I removed the barrel for the initial cleaning I noticed all 3 screws on the top of the breech were loose.  That may have contributed to my initial disappointment with how it was shooting.  Although the CPUM's didn't tighten up that much after the cleaning and tightening?

Yep, I ordered 2 mags for less than 1 shipped from ATI!  And with Prime, I should have them on Sunday, so will be able to confirm functionality after that.

Paul- I've had that happen before, so now when i get a new gun it gets cleaned & all the screws get checked! When you put your barrel back did you make sure to line up the detents with the screw holes?

Yep, sure did!  It’s a very similar design to the DAR air rifles, but the quality seems much better.

Nova Liberty .22 Synthetic is in the house, actually arrived a day early. I will not dd unboxing pictures as that has already been done, but mine came double boxed, well protected and in perfect shape. Everything was easy to find in the box, including the spare O-rings, fill probe, wrench, and two magazines. Haven't had an opportunity to do anything with it yet but I did fill to 3000 psi and no leaks detected. Tomorrow I will clean the barrel and get everything ready for some shooting. Unfortunately it is supposed to rain tomorrow and all day Saturday, so chrony and accuracy testing may be delayed. For now mine will sport a Hawke Airmax 3x9x40 that has been removed from my SPA M16. Hopefully mine will turn out to be a shooter/keeper, and if it does, this is just a "can't be beat" deal for the price/features.

Thanks again to all the early adopters/enablers that are beginning to discover what makes this rifle tick, and how we may be able make it even better. Please keep the information coming...

Yes Paul, both the hex heads from the trigger guard need to be removed.. Then the one in front of thr trigger.. Also the front sling swivel stud (remove it with a wrench)....
