Just ordered the .177 wood stock liberty. $273.00 delivered.My only other .177 is my crosman silhouette pistol which is a tack driver. I only have wadcutter pellets on hand in .177 so i hope it shoots them well? My other liberty is the synthetic .22 & i figured with my luck i would grab the wrong rifle & not find out till i got to the range! I hope it shoots as good as the .22.

Frankie- Just keep telling yourself it's an addiction & you will feel better once you click the buy key! Seriously though, with the Gauntlet,Fortitude & the Dars it just keeps getting better & better. Wonder what Shot Show 2019 will bring?

Seems most everyone is getting the wood stock? I guess they are going to be planting more trees in china soon! I haven't shoot my liberty .22 since i sent my endcap in on 11/9. My adaptor was made last Saturday & he simply forgot to ship it out. Grrrr. I shot it without the endcap & it sounded like a 22 rimfire!!

There was another dealer selling them ill look to see if they still do

Glad I got my synthetic .177 before the rush

Guess the Freedom .22 is going squirrel hunting with me for now

I ordered a .22 in synthetic. I hunt, drag, bang and scuff. Any available object is a rest. I have many wood stocked guns that just sit because of that. My Urban and Flash get a lot of use and show it very little.

Did you try different cleaners or stick to one to clean the barrel?
I read good reviews about Googone. Although I've always like how WD-40 has worked for me. I still use it to clean my barrels when accuracy falls off.

I started the barrel cleaning with Goo Gone. Whatever preservative they use in the barrel laughed at that. In the end, wound up using Chlorinated BrakeKleen and a bronze brush, followed by white cotton T-shirt patches. Every time I though the barrel was clean (the patches were coming out white) it hit the barrel with more BreakKleen and the brush. Low and behold, the patches would come out black. I did the rinse and repeat close to a dozen times before the patches stayed white. Over 40 patches, if memory serves. Took close 45min.

Btw, I had no way to measure it, but that barrel is tight, and the twist rate looks like 20:1.

Matt- Everyone has their favorite concoctions. I clean with Kroil first to soften everything up, then i use Shooters Choice Lead Remover. I also use JB paste occasionally. I like that you can go longer between cleanings with AG as opposed to my PB's. So far no ill effects on my barrels that have o-rings in them.

Ordered one last evening in 22 caliber.
Be interesting to compare it to my Marauder, Discovery and Chief all in 22 caliber.
