Any US importers carrying this gun?

Heys taking down the gun today. Found this gold piece that almost looks like an adjuster of some sort. Any idea? I know the guy in the video of another language keep pointing this out so maybe be regulator adjuster?

Ok I gave it a few turns clockwise and it definitely got louder. So I’m assuming I just increased the power. I have my chrony but I live in an apartment so I will not be able to do any testing unless I drive about 30 mins to my family’s farm. Ughh. Can’t wait to buy a house because apartments aren’t for me lol.

Frankie-I figured it wasn't going to be long before people started seeing what makes these guns tick! Your chrony will definitely be needed now. Like you said the increased power will come with more noise. Probably be another week before i get my shroud adaptor back, then i can try a couple of different moderators i have. I'm thinking that gold piece has to be a reg adj too! Unless it has something to do with the TP?

Pat if ppl are wanting to adjust the reg you don’t have to pull the tube. You can access that device without touching a thing. All you need is a smaller Hex key to reach and adjust on the fly. I would definitely like to see someone tear the gun down and pull the trigger pack. I’d like to find the hammer spring adjustment as well.

If you look at the back of the receiver you can see a square plastic cover where the hammer spring would be. If you hold that cover & drive out the last pin on the receiver i think you can get at the HS. I have put 3 huma regs in my guns but that was just setting them and then i played  around with other adj. I have read where there should be no pressure on them when they are adjusted or you take a shot and adj it before the plenum refills. I may be wrong. Maybe someone with more knowledge on reg adj can chime in.

I’ll have to look for those pins you are speaking about. I saw several set of pins. I guess that will be my next endeavor. Although it will most likely be in the field while working with the chrony.

Easy does it. Won't be fun looking for a roll pin in the grass!! After i got my wildcat i was sighting it in on a bench. After my 6 th shot when i opened the action i heard something hit the bench. It was the pin for the cocking arm. I put it back in & peened it slightly and it has held since, but having parts falling out of a brand new expensive gun did not make me a happy camper.

I don’t have a picture but you can definitely see the top of the adjuster. Even with the tube on the gun while in the stock. I’m not sure that you can adjust the rifle while its aired up but it still saves you the hassle of tearing it down completely. I’m not 100% positive it’s shooting faster yet. All I know is it sounds a little louder. I’ll have to verify with my chrony when I have time.

The Hindu dude in the vid may have had a different version of the HP-P900W. On mine, that brass piece with all the little holes in it, on the front end of the receiver, that is partially covered by the top of the air tube, is the vent for the burst disk.

The silver hex headed bolt on the bottom of the action (mine is marked "6k") is the access to the burst disk. If you degass the gun, and pull the disk, then blow thru it with compressed air, the air exits thru that brass disk with all the little holes in it.

Kinda makes sense, as you wouldn't want the burst disk to vent thru the barrel, especially if there was a pellet in the chamber.

To adjust the regulator on mine, you take the cover off the cylinder on the bottom of the action, which houses the regulator (it's got a little flat head screwdriver slot in it)

Maybe there are more than one version of this rifle out there?

Maybe or I’m just a noob to all this. I saw the part that houses the regulator which is the little black tube you speak of with the slot in the top. If this is the case then I wonder why my gun got louder after turning that brass thing?? So confused at this point.

But when I think about it, if that burst disk let's go, they couldn't possibly let it vent thru the barrel. Can you imagine 4000psi trying to push thru the transfer port (especially if the rifle is set on "low"?) To me, that seems like it'd literally turn the receiver into a IED.

I'm in the process of trying to get AT to help find me a parts brake down, so I know for sure, but so far, no luck. Thus, I'm not gonna mess with the rifle much more til I'm positive I know what I'm doing on internally.

Understood. A parts breakdown would help us all at this point. Although I don’t think ATI will be much help in producing one. One can only hope.

The other problem is ATI doesn't carry a reseal O-ring kit. So I don't want to have to measure and order any of the O-rings I might damage.

I did find another interesting thing with my rifle. It didn't have any leade or crown on the barrel. Like somebody else mentioned, I like to clean my barrels (when possible) from the breech. So I took the barrel out of the shroud and cleaned it. Probably the dirtiest barrel I've ever encountered. I also spent a few minutes with a Dremel to add and polish a leade and crown. The rifle might have shot just fine without what I did, but I do know that now if I'm having a good day I can pretty much stack pellets on top of each other at 30yds. But like I said, it might have fine without me doing anything.

I also realized that there is only about 7in of shroud that is available. The plastic piece that the barrel passes thru to center it in the shroud is sealed with two o-rings, and there are no holes in that centering piece other than for the barrel, making most of the shroud useless.

I've got a spare ldc that I got from a friend that was made by rocker1 for a Varmint. I think the baffels are almost exactly the right size, so I'm gonna gut that ldc and try to improvise something. If it works out, I'll let everyone know.

Looks like we hit a roadblock! I will e-mail the manufacturer about getting a parts breakdown & see if they respond? Unfortunately these chinese guns don't seem to come along with customer support unless you want to order from china and wait. I had the same problem with my SPA rifles & mrod air. They must have spare parts to do warranty work with? You would think selling the parts for the product you sell would make sense!!

Found another video of guy that has his shooting at the power level that I would like to tune my rifle too. 940 with 21gr baracudas would be ideal for me.

That is true. I’m sure we will get this gun figured out before long. I don’t think it is overly complicated piece just a lot of hesitation without a parts list.

I sold my .177 and got a .22. The .177 was very accurate but for my needs the .22 fits better for pesting. This one is also very accurate. Shoots JSB 18gr at 870fps on high and about 680 on low. Can't complain at all. Pretty quiet even. Very happy with it.
