Any US importers carrying this gun?

So I'm curious if anyone's played around with trying to get more power out this little gem. If it's possible to get 1100-1200 FPS with .22 14.3gr pellets, I just might make this my first PCP.

That way I can load up on some heavy (25gr+) pellets to drop FPS to accurate levels and max out FPE.

This is my first PCP and I’d be interested in trading shot count for a bit more energy myself. I just hope the parts are high quality enough to last for awhile.

That right there is what keeps me from pulling the trigger on the Hatsans. I saw a refurb on their site awhile back and inquired if they shipped out to me. Unfortunately, they don't. 

So now what's gonna happen if I buy a Hatsan? I can't send it in for warranty? I can't get parts? I have a Gamo Magnum...and wouldn't ya know? Gamo USA referred me to Gamo Spain. Great.

Paul, Be thankful they didn't ship it to you.  Just an FYI, and something I did NOT know when I purchased a refurbished BullBoss from HatsanUSA.  They DON'T do refunds on refurbished products, so the only option is play the send it back and wait till it shows up again and pray it works.  I've already sent my 2nd BullBoss back because the same part failed in both.  Also, the warranty on Refurbs is only 90 days, and since Hatsan has had my BullBoss for the better part of 2 months already, I'll probably only have use of it for another 20-30 days under warranty.  If it fails again after that, I guess I'm just stuck with it.  If you ask me, Hatsan has found a pretty clever way to dispose of their garbage and make money in the process!  When it comes to Hatsan Refurbs, BUYER BEWARE!  Do your homework before you lay down your hard earned money!  This has been a very expensive lesson for me!

I have a 6x24x44 Hawke Vantage SF on it. Not the best in the Hawke line up but it definitely works. It’s more than enough for me!

I have 2 hatsans. A gladius & a At44 short. Bought both at field supply during a refurbish sale. Both put 10 shots in a dime at 25 yds but i would take the liberty over them just because of the weight of the hatsans. I like that you can remove the air cylinder on the hatsan when you want to work on it but with just a quarter turn of a screw i can degas the liberty. Hatsans need to go on a diet for sure!

That’s the same scope I have mounted on my Benjamin Trail NP2. I plan to move it over to the Liberty. Did you have any issues with mounting?

Yeah...that's the part that gets me: hard earned money. I don't make enough to just casually throw it around. Kinda why I'm really taking my time trying to find a gun that will shoot well out of the box for awhile or at least have ready access to parts. I've been thinking about the Nova Guns, but I'm not too sure about the parts availability. If I pick up a Flash, it'll be brand new, so I hope it'll shoot without issue.

In all honesty, it's starting to get a little frustrating. I keep on going back and forth. 

And BTW...that Hatsan deal blows chunks.

 No issues mounting, I used medium 11 mm rings for a 30mm tube I believe they were also UTG. The distance from the 11 mm rail to the center of the scope is roughly 1- 1/2". also used levels on the gun and confirmed level with a plumb bob string.

I'm gonna keep my eye on american tactical's site & see if they have a black friday sale on the liberty's. All my rifles are .22 cal so i guess it's time to try  the .177 to see if i like it?

I'm hoping they have a Veterans Day Sale.  I'm really itching for one of these, in .177, but I just hate to pay full asking price for anything.  Even if they offer free shipping, I'd be on it!  I know, sounds nuts, but a penny saved is a penny earned! LOL!

I agree-The older we get the more we have to watch our pennies. I love my first gen wildcat but when i see what i can get for $300.00 i don't see myself buying another high dollar airgun unless it's something really special. I wonder what the liberty actually cost the manufacturer to make? When you factor in their shipping cost  & of course the distributor gets their cut. I guess it all boils down to the low labor wages in china.

I like my .177 alot. But I want the .22 so I'm probably gonna sell it and buy the .22. It honestly is a great gun especially for the price

Guys it really is a great deal. Right now it’s just a guessing game with the tuning of the rifle. I guess one day I’ll get the guts to jump in it and try to adjust the regulator and hammer spring. For the money I did not think you could get more gun.So that’s why I took the chance and bought one. Looks like I may have been right. Everyone seems to be really enjoying theirs.

While my .22 liberty is not too loud i like to get all my guns as quiet as possible. So i wrote donny about making me an adaptor. When i got my outlaw he had me send him my shroud end cap so he could get the thread size right. I guess he must be super busy now-Good for him- because he recommended i contact his mentor-John Hagan- for the adaptor. So my endcap is now on it's way to colorado. When i get my adaptor i plan on cutting off about 4 in. off my shroud & putting on my donny tanto. This will keep everything at the same length but now with a moderator.

Thanks Greg. I was surprised I was able to rattle that off. Didn’t have a great rest but I was able to be consistent. Pat that sounds like a nice setup. I’d definitely like to see some pictures once you recieve the ldc back.
