My liberty came this morning but I only got just the rifle with that $107.50 deal they had, whats a good source for a probe for these guns.
Gamo Urban Probe works great!
I swore i read somewhere in this thread the Urban fill probe works on the liberty.
Matt when I get the probe I'll measure the depth of the orifice of the hole in the hole in the gun and go from there. My brother did the same thing with a Varmint using a long probe, just added a sleeve to restrict the depth of the probe after it was inserted.
Hi guys, after about a week of testing with various pellets I can say with confidence that the Liberty likes lubed pellets. Although the Liberty wasn't pellet picky out of the box it did prefer certain pellets over others for max accuracy. Although my Liberty at this time is giving me the best groups with JSB 15.89's, even the cheap CPD's are grouping better than they ever did pre-lube. I can't say yet at this time if it will prolong the time between needed cleanings, but it has made a definate improvement in group sizes of pellets that didn't make the initial cut. I was getting great enjoyment dancing a small poly pill bottle around at 55 yards using the cheap $8.00 per tin Crosman premier dome untra magnums I'd picked up at Tractor Supply.

What lube did you use and how did you apply it?
How are your regs working out? I wasn't overly impressed the way mine was performing. Eve adjusted to the knee it seemed to wander quite a bit. Ordered some Bellevilles from McMaster Carr and from the 30 or so pellets I shot adjusting it back to the knee. It's working much better. Let it set for 3 hours and its still right on the money. Hate having to wast a shot to even everything up. Not good for hunting situations. I did polish the brass piston rod and sand the seat on a flat surface before hand. But the washers have seemed to do the trick. They are a bit taller than the stock ones, so they do have more range of motion. Backed the reg off 3 dots to get where i previously was.Part #96445k215 if anyone want to give them a shot

What lube did you use and how did you apply it?I used an empty pellet tin with foam in the bottom filled with aprox 100 pellets and spayed them with Blaster silicone spray from Home Depot, added the lid and rolled and flipped the can for a few minutes to spread the lube and let foam pull off any excess. Magazines were loaded with the tumbled pellets that now had a nice film on them and shot normally. I have a spray bottle of Napiers coming from Amazon but it hasn't shown up yet. I may not have ordered it if I'd tried the Blaster first.
