thanks JoeKool but that's a little out of my price range. Im topping out in the 300 dollar range I can go up a little 330 give or take but that's all I got for glass.
Just to contribute something, don't go cheap on rings and bases. You learn about the quality of cheap rings (any rings) when you lap them.If you are new to this, just know you don't crunch down on an expensive scope with rings of questionable quality; its too risky.When you get rings, always do a lapping and an alignment as in my avatar picture. Its a picture of two alignment checking rods after a lapping and mounting with bar stock.You need to KNOW that your rings are perfectly straight. There's a few other steps to get this right.
